In my clan the co-leader and i are good friends and we always say to each other i can 3 star your base with goblins as jokes and stuff but it would be great for people to have a friendly competition u dont lose any gold or elixer or dark elixer it would be for the faint of heart just to see who has a better base that would be nice
People could replicate war enemies bases, and find a weak point.

In clan battles would be fun for testing skills and bases. No trophies should be given for this. Just an in house thing.
If you change the settings so that as soon as a war starts you wont be able to edit any bases. Locked until war is over. Then I dont see a way that anybody can duplicated bases to give them a better chance at the war? You just have to make sure your happy with your base before a war is started. I think this is a great idea and would love to do "friendly" battles against my clannies. There could also be a rating put in place for clan wars like win/lose ratio, Who is king of the clan, Whos got the stongest base etc etc.
