Elixir upgrade starting from lv.8 walls

Hi, I made an account just to address this problem I have. I understand the motifs behind the elixir wall upgrades, but I would like Supercell to reconsider and make elixir upgrade available for LV.8 walls. For me right now, I am quite the hardcore clasher. I started this game in summer and I've been going quite ham on this game. This is a suggestion that will increase my enjoyment for the game. At the moment I am at TH.8. I have maxed out elixir and close to zero gold. This shows the off-balance of my resources and I am raiding only to have no extra elixir so I am raiding for only 50% of the resources most of the time as all my elixir upgrades are currently upgrading or upgraded. Again, this will make the game more balance on the resources and raiding will be more meaningful. I hope this will reach out to Supercell.

But sorry to say that is extremely unlikely to change; that is part of a huge economic change put into the game which has been careful planned by SuperCell.

As for my thoughts, the inconvenience you feel now at TH8 is temporary, once you get to TH9 you will really appreciate the change. And you will be TH9 much longer then you are TH8.

I am town hall 8 as well, and have been playing for a while, I have collectors, rage spell and dark barracks left to use my elixir on, but right now they are not my priority, so I always seem to have 6 million elixir, it's making me a more of a target to higher levels, not that I mind I don't need the elixir, but it's eye catching and I lose my other resources as well. If I could use my elixir on walls it would be much easier and I wouldn't always have max elixir

If you are worried about collateral damage due to players raiding elixir you don't need there is an easy solution.

Put the elixir storages in the corner of your base with your town hall. Then you will lose no gold, dark elixir or have traps to re-arm.

But then the player cannot attack from the lack of elixir.

then they shouldn't complain about having nothing to use elixir with.

I think that a lot of our dedicated long term clashers have been in this game lone enough to experience the temporary LV.8 wall upgrade feature so it was a piece of cake/no brainer on what to spend the extra elixir on. However, others who have just reached TH.8 not so long ago I can see this being a problem because once again it does cost a lot to upgrade walls and given that there are much more to use gold on, it is obvious that elixir will just be spilling everywhere from attacks and it is frustrating.

I love how every th 8 co plains about elixir. Just go to th 9 if you cant get rid of your lixir.
