I'm not at TH10, but from my experience and what i've read on here, i'd recommend getting those heroes a bit stronger.
Having recently finished lego's i'm in a similar position to you. However, i'm gonna stay at TH9 until i've maxed my heroes though, then i'll re-evaluate. Lets face it, once you go to TH10 your walls will get ignored for a while. Legos seem to be strong enough to hold their own though.
but to be honest just play the game however you want! Grinding Legos has put you ahead of the vast majority of players!

I recently went to th10 with only 100 or so level 9 walls and level 10/16 heroes, don't regret it, my infernos are done in two days, xbow in 3 and lab is 2days away then I'll start researching archers, liking this much more than boring wall farming.

I suggest getting your heroes to 20. At least 15. And work on some lavas while your at it. Then upgrade to TH 10.

Finish everything and then upgrade. Make your heroes lvl20 and walls lvl10. Thats what I'm doing now. I will upgrade tomorrow. Still have about 20 walls to do will do in 4 days at most. The look is amazing and they really have a big effect in war. Today got attack with maxed troops and he got 0 stars just because his heroes got stuck behind walls!!! At the end this is your base do what is funny for you. Congrats on LEGOs :)
