Lol u mad.
Yeah..100k to 150k gold is "meagre", indeed.
"Hmm..help improve the game or argue with OP for the sake of arguing"
Typical childish forum logic. Never change, CoC community
Yes, the re-arm cost of giant bombs and seeking air mines is high, too high for a TH6 or TH7.
At TH8 I don't really notice it so much, especially as my Town Hall is outside so I mostly get sniped or zapped.
However, the point remains that re-arm costs are a flaw in the Clash "economy". As the OP says, they have to raid to re-arm their traps, probably triggering the traps of the person that they are raiding, who then has to raid to re-arm their traps, and so on...
All this re-arm cost goes nowhere, it is simply gold that disappears from the "economy" (sorry for constantly quoting the word "economy", I just don't want to give the impression that Clash is in any way like a real economy).
There is only a re-arm cost on traps because the developers have decided there is. It could easily be reduced or eliminated entirely.
The real purpose seems to be to make sure that people have to come on regularly, which is why xbows and infernos also need to be re-armed, and why clan castle troops get killed and you have to request more. Given that this is the primary intention, I can't really see any harm in reucing the re-arm cost of the lower-level giant bomb and seeking air mine.
I've suggested it before and not really been sure why people seem so opposed to it. It doesn't seem like that big a deal.
Exactly. It hurts NOBODY. People here always need something to disagree about, even if it means going out of their way to criticize someone trying to make a positive change instead of going out of their way to help MAKE that change. An inherent flaw in this game's society and shows the immaturity and narrowmindedness of these posters as a whole.
Anyways, yes making the re arm cost cheaper would hurt supercell financially because they need people to spend resources, they need people to buy gems.
However, making an option to remove traps from your base hurts absolutely nobody, and is a change that would be easy to make, as well as making an incentive for farmers to want to defend their TH
I like the way you put your point forward. Now it makes me see the light better, you can say.
Mr. OP here was being a bit too overboard and asking for an option to only re-arm the tiny traps.
What you said, on the other hand seems legit to me, especially for Town Hall 8 and below.
You are right about making re-arm costs cheaper. But asking SC to write separate code so that you can re-arm each trap type separately is asking for too much!
This is an implementable feature, yes, but there are better things that SC can do rather than write code which (most - as can be seen from the replies you got) people don't need.
They are indeed too high, and today a fundamental part of any successful defence.
I understand their purpose, a one time benefit that must be manually re-armed. That way you cannot just consecutively have a 100% ready defence by not playing the game.
But the cost? Absurd. I believe the cost if every trap was trigged is 277,400. That is a joke.
Some players complain about exposed halls. Re-arm costs are a huge reason exposed halls exist. I fear the re-arm costs more then loot I can lose when I go to bed. That's just plain stupid.
Totally unnecessary economy black hole.
