Mine are always busy. I won't be a TH10 in 9 months if they do; they only slept for a long time when I semi-quit.

I know his trick, let say he has 5 builders. He use 4 builders to upgrade defenses or other structures and one builder free when he's farming and upgrade his walls while farming. As soon as he done the farming session, he upgrades say a bomb or trap which isn't take too long to upgrade, then when continues farm later, he let the builder free for farm the wall. Repeat the trick. This is what I do at TH8.
