Some say yes, with the introduction of the league system. But I will say it is the best time for farmers. Because right now I usually have 1350-1450 trophies, most attackers only took my town hall (which is placed outside of the wall) and left.
What are your opinions?
This is like a month late and no.
Farming will never end. People will always put their TH outside their base, for 4 reasons.
1. It takes up too much space (Even if SC removed the free shield upon TH being KO'd, it still is a pain to place)
2. There's no benefit to keeping it win the walls
3. Gives you free shields
4. Keeps trophy count down
Why would creating a stronger base in order to better protect your resources and save up for upgrades that are pricey ever stop? Not everyone cares about trophies, why don't people get that.

The 20% loot reduction was the only real hit to farming in the last patch. Leagues are irrelevant at the moment. But even with the reduction most TH9 farmers I chat with are still making 2-4 million a day depending on their effort.
Honestly, I think farming has gotten better. I've been in the same range since the league update and the loot hasn't faltered at all. The league update also helps because every night I can rest soundly knowing that some town hall 7 will take my town hall and run. :)
Even with the loot reduction- loot is still easy to come by, even at TH8/9. Pre-update, the defender had to have 800k in stores to steal 200k. That has now been raised to 1 mil. 800k in stores now leaves 150k loot able. I, for one, would certainly attack the same bad that once offered me 200k for 150k. The 50k reduction is very small, almost unimportant IMO.Quote:

I think farming has actually gotten better, especially for those who can do it over 2200 trophies. Personally I cannot but the 20000 loot bonus makes a big difference.
