If you are just wasting spare time why does it matter how quickly you progress through the game? I have buddies who play casually, are at TH10 with level 7 walls, and have a blast. They might have 2 builders busy at the most. They don't care. If you do care, you gotta spend some time or money.

Btw, I completely agree TH10 loot is far from ideal. Claiming it is "impossible" to progress is just silly though.

Pete, I never claimed it is impossible to progress. But I am saying for the last year, SC has been turning the screw on TH10's, making it harder and therefore less enjoyable to play this game.

Why settle for less and less with each update?

We are trying to convince SC to change their current direction in this game.

I know man, I didn't mean to imply you did. The thread title does though, and if SC scans the forum and sees that type of post....can you blame them for not having a dialogue with us?

I have tons of ideas to improve the game. I'd love to have a real discussion with people like you and Smalls. I just can't stand the type of complaining that I typically see in these threads. Not you specifically. I'll always listen to anyone reasonable and try to understand where they are coming from.

Since I posted that I just got a 1.1 million raid. Like I told you guys, you are in the wrong trophy range.

I cant fathom how some people could possibly be having such consistently different loot for months on end.

I was in m2-1 during boosts, had a few dry spells, usually during UK daytime surprisingly. But using a big army and loads of spells, taking huge loots every 25-30 mins.

On advice of 3 clanmates in C3, all th10s, i went down there.
There are some raids just as big, (with all the competition didnt think there would be ANY rich th9s), with a lot less bonus, more nexting, and lower average loot per next.
But the bases are soooo much easier, that rarely use spells, have put King down for first time in months because dont need him, and dont always use all troops.

yeah, TH10 kinda sucks, at least in comparison to TH9 and lower for loot. I have a TH7 and a TH10. if i boost both i can get 8-9 million resources with the TH7 easy in 2 hours, with the TH10 IF i get 3 million i'm very happy and the worst part is how much more you have to work at it. even barching at TH10 can be tricky.

So i'm making about 3X more with lvl 3 troops vs lvl 6 troops AND the cost of my TH10 buildings are 7-8 million per upgrade instead of 500,000 - 2 million per upgrade.

Really my only gripe is that you make less at a TH level where everything is considerably more expensive. I guess that's what separates the men from the boys though.

That is indeed the frustrating part, and TH10 needs the loot so much more.

Most at TH10 that 'complain' are doing so comparatively to how much better loot is at lower halls - yet they do not need it at much.

We can make do, it's not impossible. But the game is flawed in that it lets halls that need loot less be able to loot more.

I don't really mind seeing all these replays of the TH8-9 in my clan hitting 1 million raids every so often, or all their collector raids. I've been there and had my time and you can't compare it to TH10. Heck, I've only had 2-3 serious raids on my base in the last 1-2 months so the amount of loot I save by never being raided is already plenty more than what some of these TH9 are gaining on attack.

I've loved every second of TH10 and even though my base is maxed now besides walls and heroes, I still enjoy it. Still easily pull in 300k-600k combined every raid, no matter if I'm in C3 or M1. A lot of doors open when you raid storages and I've yet to have a problem outside of the last few weeks with all the boosts going on.

LoL, I fully understand time of day makes a huge difference on loot. I've farmed more than most on this forum with all kinds of farming army's - from BAM, to Giants, to loons. And I don't have the luxury like you do of having maxed heroes, so at least one of mine are always upgrading.

But that fact actually strengthen the argument that something must be done about fixing it. Most people can't or just don't want to have to set an alarm to play a game. You should be able to pick up your device at any time and have a good experience. Also, except for the hardcore among us, most players can't sit down for 5-6 hours at a time and BARCH league bonuses.

And by the way I raided the exact same time yesterday as today but it's night and day difference.

edit: I really like this game. I only make suggestions to where I think the gamers would have a better experience, which in the long run will lead to more revenue and longevity for SuperCell. Relying on whales will eventually burn out, and they will need casual spenders or else the game will die.

Sadly, I think SuperCell is just going to let this be a cash cow for a while until it finally crashes and burns, I've seen less ads for CoC on TV and more for Boom Beach now. Add to that we have gotten absolutely nothing in the way of new content and the writing is on the wall.

Hopefully I'm wrong but it sure looks that way.

Sadly I feel you're right:/ Seems SC has directed its focus toward its other game titles and is slowly allowing Clash to fall to the wayside. The sheer lack of NEW content is borderline offensive if ya ask me. Lava hounds....meh. Clan wars...meh (because all the ch****rs have made it almost impossible for a legit clan to win). New level of collectors that produce a combined amount of elixir between all seven to make another wizard per hr....pfffft lol.

Be all end all there are FAR too many variables and factors to have a solid answer to whether or not loot is "good" or "bad". Army comps, spells used, time of day, style of playing, how often one plays, what league they're in, what level troops are, and on and on and on. Why countless threads are made is beyond me....and trust me I'm just as saddened as a lot here that it's seems to not be as fun to farm as a TH 10.....but have learned to not let it bother me.

I do agree that the game should be fun no matter what one chooses to do (farm or push....or both)....and to me personally it's not anymore. I'm a maxed TH 10 as said before and am just grinding on farming lavas (97 left)....and to do that Id have to play for two and three hrs at a time. Aaaaaaand I have a life lol...so that's not an option anymore. The game has steered towards being rewarding to the players that can constantly grind out attacks and not for the casual player....and that among other things has killed it for me:/

You're wasting your time using facts and numbers on these fools.

I loonion in crystal 2 - masters 3 and I find ok loot with relatively minimal nexting. Since upgrades take so long it's ok that it takes a few days to fill storages. I don't need to fill them in a day anymore. In masters you can farm dark elixer no problem. Pretty easily actually.

I do Boost barracks though
