How are th9s supposed to hold on to loot

Every time i log of i get pooped on by max troops from a max th10 and lvl 40 queen / king and lose all my loot
why can th9 have better troops because th9 dosnt have a very high diferance between th8 troops yet th10 has pretty much every troop in the game better then th9 and put a my th9 max defence cant do anything vs max troops and its stupid how the only way you can win is if you get th10 and infernos or get a cc every time you log of and hope they don't try to lure them
and i was farming in high c1 /m3

drop trophies or farm more

when you have a lot of loot, you are not supposed to log off until you spend it.
also im sure there are not a lot of maxed th10s with lvl 40 heroes around gold 2 - crystal 3 which is where you should be farming

So you're at 4000 cups? Surely you mustnt be expecting to defend up there...

And if you're not at 4000 cups, well then I can say with 100% confidence that you couldn't show me three defenses in a row being attacked by lvl 40 royals.

Seriously? You get 20+ camp capacity, king, queen, 4 spells and lv6 giants. Th9 can destroy th8(even if it's maxed) with farming troops, and you probably need 1 or 2 spells for that. Th10 can potentially do the same thing to th9, provided they they have high lvl heroes.

Is your town hall in the corner of your base completely undefended with no traps around it? If not, that is probably the biggest reason you are getting raiding every time right there. Make sure your town hall is out so that people can easily snipe it for the league bonus while leaving your storages alone. Also, make sure you are in crystal 3 or above so that the league bonus is high enough for people to want to snipe your town hall. If you do these things then you can log off with full storages and more often than not people will not try and raid your storages.

upgrade your walls/def/ and make a good map//

dont expect good def when your def is weak .i have 100 lvl10 walls rest lvl9 and all my def r maxed for th9 and even th10 with max troops cant get more 2-3 storage usually even cant touch dark storage.

Put your TH out and drop trophies, you are probably up too high.

Go to between 1900 & 2000 trophies and put ur th outside. 90% of attacks will be snipes from people trying to get to crystal for the gems
