New building: "Clan Market"
[After reading the stickies carefully I came across some previously suggested ideas that were ruled out.
My idea might appear to be somewhat similar but please read the details before closing this.]
I have an idea for a new building. It's called "Clan Market".
With this building players can trade by selling resources (gold, elixir, dark elixir) to their other clanmembers at the cost/reward of gems and a percentage of interest of the given resource.
Say I have 500.000 spare Gold which I want to sell to another clanmember. I can now file a request for this with my Clan Market building. My request will show up in the request window (a new tab in the chat window where also requests for troops will be so they don't get snowed under by chat messages). Filing this request will cost me an interest (a certain amount of the given resource, say 25%). If another clanmember wants to buy my gold (still 375.000 left after the interest has been deducted), he/she will have to pay with gems (say 10% of the amount it would have costed in the shop = about 30 gems). A very small share of the gems (another 10% of that = 3 gems for instance) will go to me and the rest of it will go to Supercell.
This building would have multiple levels which are related to the town hall level. Maybe introducing the Clan Market at town hall level 6 would be a good idea. The Clan Market will have a count down timer indicating te next possible request, much like requesting troops with the clancastle. It would also have a maximum amount of resources which can be sold/bought matching the Market Place level. I'm thinking the time before a new request can be filed, could gradually be shortened by upgrading to a higher level and the maximum amount of resources per transaction could be raised just so.
This building and its possibilities will ofcourse have an impact on the game. Maybe even a fairly large impact. I'm aware of that. That's why the exact numbers and percentages need to be thought out well by Supercell. I can imagine that Supercell would be very carefull also to tinker with their current gem flow but if they would implement this the right way I think it would be a win win situation for everyone and it would result in a bigger gem flow.
In general I think it will result in an even more dynamic game by lowering the bar this way. People will be able to progress faster in the game because of their effort rather than their patience. There still will be a lot of people buying gems also because the number of gems in play will still rise with this new building. If one sells gold/elixir/dark elixir for gems, still the buyer has to get those gems from somewhere and the person selling only gets a fraction of that. One can only spend a gem once... ;) It will also be fun to interact at an even more functional level with the other clan members.
I really hope the Supercell crew would consider adding this building in a future update. Maybe you have a usefull addition or different view. Let me/them know what you think of this idea by posting a reply!
