Check out my goblins digging at the same piece of wall.
.. is one trying to get in and another trying to get out?
.. are they helping each other out?
Neither seem to make sense. I thought this was odd.

What is going on? I can't see the picture?:p
There's no image :(
Edit: I see it now :)
My guess is that one of the goblins started breaking the wall while there was a collector/mine on the other side. The other goblin destroyed the collector/mine and then tried making its way in to get to the elixir storage. It chose to attack the weakest wall, which was the wall the other goblins was still attacking. :)

Sorry edited!
LOL that's funny.:D
Lol! Funny--I see this all of the time with archers. They stand on opposite sides of a wall, shooting at the wall to get to the other side. Once through, they reset and decide where to go next--together. I think this happens when something changes midway through them trying to break the wall (a gold mine was there, then destroyed). Once they set about trying to destroy a wall, they don't stop until it is gone, even if the reason for the breaking through the wall is no longer there.
Goblin 1: Yo dude, I already cleared what's inside the base.
Goblin 2: I heard there's more out there.
Goblin 1: Really? Well, I heard the nearby townhall outside still has some goodies.
Goblin 2: I ain't got time for that. Since you're trying to go out and I'm trying to go in, let's break this annoying wall, ya?
Goblin 1: Right on!
this reminded me the "thinking" dragon: where do I need to go? the dragon was attacked by tesla and hang there without any actions, until another dragon destroyed the tesla tower.
one more comment is, this kind of small bug is totally acceptable. the big bugs, such as the formulas of finding a match, trophies, can not be tolerated. supercell needs to get rid of jungle rule asap. otherwise, it will lose customers when a similar game on ios or android comes out.
they're long lost brothers
LOL really funny.
Now thats called team work :)
haha you guys are funny but troops should not keep attacking at a wall when it doesn't make sense xD
Yeah and someone else also told me that the troops follow the same formula... I don't see how it's the same formula when they are both wanting to go to different directions. Uhh can you tell me what happened after the wall was broken?
In all likelihood, there was a collector outside, near the town hall. The goblin on the inside destroyed whatever was inside, and went looking for a new target. Since that collector outside was closest, it chose that, and started breaking the wall. Meanwhile, the goblin outside was destroying stuff, and destroyed the collector the first goblin was targeting. Thus, the second goblin had to find a new target. Since the nearest building with resources was inside the base, the second goblin chose to try to break into the base by destroying the weakest wall. This was the wall the first goblin had started on. Since troops will continue to attack a wall until it is destroyed, or another wall in the same row is destroyed, this meant this first goblin still attacked the wall with the second one. Once it is destroyed, they will likely both go for that elixir storage.
No glitches, no independent thought by the troops. Just following the programmed AI.
After the wall was broken, they ran to a building that was outside.
Yes it is definitely part of the AI and not a glitch but troops should be able to recalculate after a building is destroyed.
Happens all the time with archers...
