Lavaloonion as a TH9 after update

i'll upload tommorow a video of 3 stars on the base in the pic. basically i used that tactic of 2 lavas on one AD, and let the pups kill the queen. but i did lure the CC, and done less spamming of loons :D

I have 3-starred two bases recently using this strategy, with and without luring.

Without luring, the successful rate is highly dependant on the CC troops. I have 3-starred a base with ease without luring when the base only contains witch and archers, then I have failed when the base contains ~4 wizards.

With luring, I used 4 lavas, 5 minions, 1 archer, 4 barbarians, and rest balloons.

I don't know if I can pull the same on harder bases but I'll be watching more and learning. This discussion is particularly helpful and I'd like to (again) thank for everyone that contributed.

One of my TH9 clan mate just 3 star the below base using hybrid lavaloonion, he did try and lure but didn't do a full lure but did managed to kill all the cc before releasing the lavaloonion part. I'll upload the video later. How would you guys tackle it using lavaloonion?

The lava pups got a decrease in health by 5. This along with the new archer towers cause the lava pups to die significantly quicker.

It's a clan mates attack. Actually, we also had The General base in the same war and he tried to replicate your lavaloonion att but unfortunately could not replicate the 3 star, different trap placement threw him off.
