Thanks for the fail, keep it coming. Your style is good, you explain your strategy as usual, and then how it goes wrong.

However, even if the AQ didn't target the hut, won't she goes for the AT, then maybe trigger BK (walking back to altar), only then AD ?

Me myself, failed a few times. Not sure if my choice to upgrade Lava to L3 is the right choice...

Thanks for your vids btw, I had all 3-star attacks in CW in my first 4 lavaloon tries after watching your vids.

For the rest - I have a simple army composition to share if you can identify a base in which you can take out an AD, AQ, and lure/kill cc from entering at one point.

1) 1 golem + 5 wiz + heroes, this is your force to take out AQ. You can use one spell on this group, I usually use rage, lightning could work too.
2) 3 lavas, 22 loons. (Can go down to 20 loons if you need to take some wb or a few assorted minions, etc). Double lava on the strongest part of the base, one more lava from another direction, triple tap loons for each def.

This attack is really strong and easy, nothing complicated that could mess up.

it always takes time for the AQ to target a hero. by them i would already use her ability to take down that AD.
lavas lvl3 are totally awsome in th10..

were you just spamming troops?

here's the first time i tried 5 lava hounds. in my opinion it's good only for very specific bases (no need to lure the CC - witches inside, and better if xbows on ground so they won't get your lava pups). this is pretty much what i've seen in the videos posted here as well..

Question: I've watched several vids, some posted here, of the Quadlavaloon attack as a TH9 (26 Lvl6 Loons and 4 Lvl2 LHounds plus Hero/pup cleanup).

I have tried to repeat it on Max TH9's only. All max defenses. Sometimes cc is full, other times not with various enemy hero levels.

I have not been able to consistently 3 star. Ive just done it once. Yet folks seem to be using it vs max TH9's in war and consistently 3 starring.

So, can anyone help with this?Flow/pathing info, tricks, what to look for when deploying? Thanks

I 100% agree with you. I tried QUAD last war, only 68% 2 stars. But I got to one AD with hogs, and found there to be 3 max balloons in their CC. Totally threw me off.

Just bumping to see if anyone has thoughts on the pathing question i posted above.

I reread the thread and watched the vids. It seems like loons are coming out in 3 groups,maybe 4, depending on air def placemant. Maybe tesla placement, to meet in core. Heal to extend.

Still experimenting....
