Lavaloonion as a TH9 after update

Also, here are two more photos of bases i 3 starred..this time with new attacks (for me at least).
first one was with a GoHog attack, and second with 5 Lavas and 20 Loonion.
my impression was that the 5 lavas are pretty limited and you can attack it when xbows are down+there's a witch in the CC. this was the case in this base, as i attacked it after someone already did.

Thanks for videos. This is a strategy I really need to work on.

I'm still getting a feel for the strategy, still learning, and so I was wondering how you would approach this.

I was thinking about 3/4 lavas, about 10 minions and rest balloons, entering through the bottom. I could possibly kill the queen and lure the CC at the same time, but not sure completely how I'd manage that. The core is where all hell will break loose, I'm thinking 2 rages and a heal right in the core with all the AD's and WT's, and not sure about that last spell. It's still preperation day, I'm aware he could change the base, but either way, it's a learning experience. Thanks!

Also, minions and loons maxed for TH 9, hound is currently level 1, has been going to 2.

A clanmate just attacked it, got the dreaded 49%, had a drag and five archers in the CC

not sure i would attack it with lavaloonion. not saying its impossible, but im sure there are better bases. this one can easily be wiped with gowipe/gowiwi

Yeah, might've been better, but I don't have much experience with those armies, still learning those as well. Anyways, nabbed a two-star, pretty close though. I'll be looking into other armies for bases like this. This was their highest TH 9, the second highest I could three-star without too much hassle, decided on a challenge and bit off more than I could chew :p

Luv this thread. Soaking up the videos and advice. I had my first 3 star (non war) with a Quad Lava yesterday. Getting the feeeeeel....
