Hello, welcome to my guide on farming in champ. I have received quite a few PM's with people asking for my strategy on arching. Most of these people are seeking it just to get them to champ, farming there hasn't even occurred to them. So, that got me thinking. Is that something I want the forums to know? Well, yes and no. On the one hand, it helps people, it gives people an interesting read and it shows people its possible. While on the other hand, I think to myself, darn it, then there will be more competition up here, and less loot to go round. But that's when it clicked with me, champs isn't about collector raids. Its not even about storage raids. Its all about the league bonus. So, there isnt less loot to go round, there would be more. More possible bases to raid = more possible league bonuses.
-180K Gold
-180K Elixir
-1200 DE
That's about what you aim for in a regular farm raid, just in the league bonus. Anything else you get, is a bonus.
Below is an example: (before AT update as someone pointed out)

Now, obviously this is not a realistic score you will get each time, but its their to show you, you can pull in 600K gold attacks, and a lot more often than you would in say, crystal league.
One of the things I keep seeing brought up is the new archer towers. People seem to find them so intimidating against barch. Well, I can tell you, they have not impacted a great deal, its noticeable, but certainly not worthy of the words 'Nerf to Barch'. I just pushed from bronze league to 3200 in 3 days, taking the middle day off for Christmas. And now is the ideal time for it, take advantage of this one gem boost. So, without any further introduction I'll get stuck into the strategy.
The Strategy:
So, first things first. You will need 220+ troop capacity. Yes this can be done as a TH9, I've done it myself.
The Barracks:
Set your barracks to train archers, and archers only.
The Spell Factory:
Queue up all lightning spells, you will not need them for most raids, but occasionally they come in handy. DO NOT use them to lightning mortars at the start of the raid. Most raids are over in under 45 seconds, so mortars barley let off a few shots. Keep your lightnings for the last few % if you are still short.
[One hit kill buildings include:] -Builders Huts
-Hero Pads
-Army Camps
Heroes:
Your queen in particular is great, but not essential. And the king, I'd rather keep him asleep upgrading. You will only need them to pick off the last few % at the end if you are still short.
The Raid:
When starting out with the strategy, look for 35+ exposed buildings you know you can get, do this, and the raid is going to run smoothly. After a while, what I noticed is that I can look at any base, and immediately know "yep, I can beat that, or nope, no chance." If you're on an iPad, use the three finger deployment method. Work your war around the base in a circle, aim to drop 60 archers per side.
Like so:

Do not use your ability's immediately, wait until close to the end to revive their health allowing you to get out and raid again as quickly as possible. With the current 1 gem boost, I am raiding every 7 minutes, and if you do a 2 hour session, that's 17 raids = 3,060,000 gold/elixir and 20,400 DE. (just in loot bonus.) Now imagine if you stole just a measly 75k gold in addition to the loot bonus (usually a lot more than 75K), that would be an extra 1,275,000. 4.3 million resources aint too bad for a 2 hour session. It is an extremely profitable strategy that can bring in huge amounts of loot, and it can be used on any base:

Anyway, that will conclude the guide on arching to and in champ, I hope it was helpful to at least one person.
Thanks WiWiGoGo for the cover photo :)
