Clan Mail

Can we please get less of a cool down on the clan mail?

We have 48 hours of war, 24 for preparation, 24 for battle.

In that time, I the leader can only possibly send FOUR mails.

48 hours is a long time,

and so is 24, over 24 hours, of battle

I have more to say then what can fit in 2 mails.

And over 48, more to say then what fits into

4 mails total.

If I have a clan of (for example) 50 members, maybe I want to say for each one who to attack and how,

I can't do it in chat, because it might get sent to the bottom by the time EVERYBODY reads it..

I don't see the problem, why does Supercell CARE how many MAILS I send to MY clan.

Thank you for reading, before bashing me, try to elaborate, and perhaps think of my idea, this is a forum; so let's talk it out, with some ideas on how this is good, or bad.

Edit: You may say "you shouldn't have to tell each member who and how to attack"
But take in the fact that the leader could be level 100 with full knowledge of how to raid, and the majority of the clan could be level 30-50, with less knowledge on how to raid. (example)

Maybe 6 hours in between.......The only problem is a rouge co could spam mails if they had the time in-between too short.

They could give co more of a cool down then leader,

also, if you're a leader, and you have a "rage" co, that's your fault.. You choose your co's.. Not Supercell.

But yeah, a shorter cool down would be good. However, keep the cool down. This will prevent mail spam, even by well meaning leaders and co leaders. The cool down impresses the point of clan mail shouldn't be taken lightly, and should make the most of each limited character count message.

But why am I being limited to what I can do as far as sending mail, in my own clan?!

And , what color would you like the text to be ?

Either way, the current cool down is too damn high !

Thanks, much better. Personally dark green is my favorite, but that's besides the point. :p

And yeah, 12 hours gives one or two messages a day, depending on when you do them, which really limiting. I can kind of see why there is a character limit, since maybe some phones have a text box size limit akin to text messages. Having larger messages could limit who can play. Why the messages are so limited in terms of editing, I'm at a loss on. Why can't we fix mid-sentence typos or copy and paste to and from things?

Anyway, some cool down should be kept, since it gives a better message of take your clan mailing seriously than most any other method. Would find it annoying to have my phone constantly buzz because of someone sending clan mail. But 12 hours of a cool down, is really awkward, since it causes some of us in the clan to ask someone else to send out an important message, because the leader, or most active co leader, is desperate to get a time sensitive message out to everyone. 6-8 hours would be much better (preferably 6 hours), since it gives that psychological message of not to abuse it, but allows us to use it a couple times a day when important issues come up.
