did I need to worry about DE upgrades?

Hello. Sorry for english. Before few days I reach th8. I reach like max th7 (level 2 hog rider/minions and king lvl 5).

So I want to ask : I need to be focused on DE troops upgrades ?

Bcs I read lot people say that is DE so much easier to get in th9 from level 6 DE drill.

I still have max th7 level troops but still try to level hogs to lvl 3/4. Bcs leveling DE is much harder than leveling elixir units.

I need honest advice. Elixir is not problem. To wait to max DE units before th 9 or only to upgrade elix units ? I ask bcs I so much risk bcs I attack strong th 8 and low th9.

Yes I am new th8, but what to know what to do. I care only about DE units. Bcs I am new th8 to spend my time for DE or only upgrade elixier on lab and move to th 9 ?

I always have full elixier. Problem is bcs I take 2000-3000 DE in 5-6 attacks, but lost same on only 1 from th9.

So to only upgrade "pink" units and move on th9 or to upgrade all DE units including king ?

Which one is best ? Again sry for english. Thank you.
Btw I already have both DE drill maxxed to level 3 (2160 per day).

If you play in 2 hour sessions with the 1 gem boost! In 1 session I farmed 8000 - 10,000 Dark Elixir! I played 2 sessions, which filled my dark elixir storage. I'm also a Town Hall 8, I upgraded my Barbarian King to level 5 today! I lost 952 overnight! I farmed it back in 2-3 raids! Just stay strong man and keep on Clashing :cool:!

I play on silver 1 with level 4 units (giant/healer/achers). I steal today 20000 de without boost (+zapp).

I know that I soooooo early ask bcs I dont have level 5 finished, but is worth to upgrade DE units on th8 or th9?

I hear that often people after th8 rush to th9, so I am not sure is this good idea?

I know that I will easy upgrade elixir units, only care about DE. Worth to upgrade DE (hard) on th8 or move to th9 bcs of drills and defence ?

You can get your storage to level 4 which can hold 80,000 capacity!

I just entered third week at th8 but my Be is upgrading to level 9. I think the biggest challenge at th8 not about DE upgrade but maxing the walls and tesla.

The DE drills at TH9 only gets you an extra 1000+ per day, which is like two extra attacks per day for you. I'm also TH8 but I would imagine it is not any easier getting or protecting DE as a new TH9, at least until your farming troops are upgraded.

There's no "winning" the game, there is no reason to rush your TH unless you are bored. Personally, I'm enjoying destroying strong TH8 and early TH9 as a TH8 (I'm only 6 weeks in). You will want to upgrade those DE troops eventually. I would do it at TH8 and not have to worry about new buildings, loot penalty and TH10 smashing you.

By the way, your English is certainly good enough to get your point across, no need to apologize! It is better than some native English speakers around here.

Im swimming in DE here in Crystal 2 as a TH9

It's always more benefitial to get them all done before moving ahead. 40,000+ DE is not hard to farm in 10-12 days of lab time to wait for. Move up to crystal 3 and barch drills and collectors. Storage zaps are worth 800-1200 DE. DE is not much better at TH9. Plus you need that for AQ right away. You won't want to be farming out TH8 DE upgrades at TH9.

There is no real need to go out of your way for DE until TH9 really. TH9 or TH10 are a million times better at farming DE.

Just do what you can with DE for now, not worth stressing over yet.

At lvl 6 they make 100/h de, thats 4800 de per day.

That really helps, add the fact that TH9 has far more potential to raid DE with lv 6 Giants & lv 6 Balloons it is quite silly to stress over it at TH8.

Also add the fact it's almost impossible to stop a TH9 farmer taking your DE every time they attack you.

As TH9 you have a far greater chance of protecting the DE storage against any farmer, even TH10 farmers. [this statement does not consider the impact of lv 7 Giants though, that may change that]

tbh i skip those DE upgrade and done all of it @ th9. much much easier
