Hello! I made a new strategy that works amazing! It is called minion rush and here is how you do it, 15 - 25 giants, and all the minions you can hold! All your heroes, and rage and healing spells (However many you want.) I have tried it out, and It works better in gold and lower. It is a great strategy try it out!

Wouldn't Air Bombs wreck the minions? Giants isn't really useful in protecting air troops as well. It's why loonion is a more viable strategy instead.

Minions are basically tougher archers. So I see how this works.
So it definetly works but I chose giants because they have high HP, dont cost alot, and go for defense.

Giants need to go through walls before they do damage

Seems like the minions would outpace the giants. There is a reason that loonion works better and is used in crystal instead of gold and lower. Also, loonion you only need 2 spells for most bases in crystal as opposed to all of them.
Loonion costs alot and takes awhile and doesnt work well on alot of bases, Minion Rush on the other hand costs a small amount and works on almost anything. You use a rage spell to get through the first layer of walls. It also works with Lava hounds.

air mines will destroy this attack unless you have a circumferential deployment best in 2 waves, you mentioned using lava hounds, that could work if deployed skilfully to mop up all the air mines as the air defences are really no threat, the wiz towers splash damage and the air bombs are the threat. I was interested in the comment loonion costs a lot and takes a long time and then you mention lava hounds...hello...the bases you talk about will not recoup the dark elixir cost and they are the slowest training troop of all. The combination with giants is well....laughable...air defences are not the threat as they are single shot single targetQuote:

In which case you are using a lot of dark elixir per attack with no chance of getting it back, still makes no sense at all other than as a novel once off strategy, a lot more effective strategies against TH7 and early Th8 are out thereQuote:
