What I Don't Understand....

Did anyone notice when thy added the ability to upgrade lev 6+ with elixir that people flipped and said reverse it (September I believe it was). And now that they increased the level that you have to have to upgrade walls with elixir (level 9+) people started flipping out saying to reverse the thing that they said to reverse in the first place.

And just to add my 2 cents, I believe that all walls are easy to upgrade (up to level 10 and then it becomes more of a challenge). I believe that Lix walls for 6+ wasn't the brightest idea, I plan on farmig the rest of my skulls soon. I have 35 skulls and the rest dark purple. Skulls are easy to do with gold and TH 8s shouldn't be completely devastated by this minor change.

The issue (at least for me, personally) isn't that skulls are hard, but that there's nothing to do with elixir. I've had over 5 mil for the last week, and that number won't be going down until my lvl 3 pekka upgrade (currently have giants, goblins, and one gold mine to upgrade before being done with all elixir upgrades). So once that's done, I'll have nothing to do with elixir, it'll be doomed to sit in my storages until TH 9 and it's shiny new toys come by (probably a couple more weeks).

So I don't really mind the change in walls, just wish that there was something to do with all this elix for late TH 8.

I agree, and I think this is the biggest issue with this whole wall upgrade thing. The "it's too hard" complaint doesn't touch my cold hard heart, cause I got by just fine with gold and I know many others have too.

Back in the day when I was a th8 on my main, I didn't upgrade all my skulls. I upgraded all my defenses, the king, and troops (even the dark ones). I did 25 or so then said forget this, pushed to master (personal goal) and then went to th9. I ended up doing all my skulls and most of my legos after the defenses were maxed (over the summer before the elixir update... it can be done). I don't see the need to do all skulls at th8, especially if you are going to sit on max elixir storages. If you want to stay and max it, I can respect that and I understand, but keep in mind at th9 you can do a skull then sink lix into it to make it a lego right away if you are focusing on walls.

On my second account im working on all skulls at th8. The elixir storages are full and I use them to get trophys. Dumb, but it's my choice to stay and work on skulls. Plenty of new th8s and th9s love the 10% 200k+ raids on my base with 4-10 archers. I'm sure they are laughing at me, but it doesn't hurt my feelings.

I think even more people will have lvl 7 walls going into th9 now after this update. I won't judge them if they do, cause I can see the benefit of not sitting on elixir for a month. But no one is making you stay at th8 to max your walls, so please don't complain if you decide to do that.

You know all these folks will be back after the one gem boost ends to complain that they deserve/demand the one gem boost back right?

A lot of people are too caught up in their own bubble to understand how decisions can impact the game.

The second SuperCell announced elixir walls I actually quit [temporarily obviously LOL] as it was ALWAYS going to hurt the game. And it did.

I'm absolutely shocked SuperCell EVER did that. Did not think they would be that stupid, yes; stupid.

The recent update, while it still leaves elixir walls in the game, raising the minimum level at least reduces the strain on the economy.

why playing coc is too complicated for some people @_@
