I am upset about the fact that we can't upgrade a wall from lvl 7 to 8 with elixer.

I think people are missing the point OP's trying to make.........

It's not that skulls are hard, but that there's nothing to do with elixir. Whether or not skulls can be upgraded with elixir, I honestly don't care, but I do care about the 6 mil sitting in my storage tempting every raider who sees my base.

Sorry, that was a tad tempting. Point is, things change, and while I'm not a fan of the old wall update there's a better argument than this, that it made elixir too hard to come by (for some).

No, you TH8 are missing the point. You refuse to give yourself access to further elixir upgrades at TH9 because you want the benefits TH8 has.

That is the price you have to pay.

500 000 is just too cheap to be able to be dumped into walls, ever since that happened it has been extremely rare to find a TH8 with ANYTHING worth raiding. That contributes heavily to the nexting problem the game has.

Your short term pain, gives long term gain to the game.

This is what the rest of us have dealt with for the past couple of years. The Lix for walls gave everyone a break for a few weeks, wrecked the economy and now they changed it back. I hate to say it but.....so what? You got excess Lix. Join the rest of what the community has dealt with for 2+ years. The recent update is nothing to get upset over.

So TH 8s should rush to TH 9 as soon as they have maxed elixir storages? That really doesn't make much sense.

And daz, as I said in my post (in case you didn't read it, since it seems like you didn't), it's not that 500k is a lot and I don't care that I can't spend elixir on walls. What I have an issue with is the pure uselessness of elixir for mid-late TH 8s. I feel that there should be something that lower THs can spend large amounts of elixir on outside of upgrades and drills, whether that's walls or something else, I couldn't care less.

You're a higher level, so you've most probably done them. You think they're easy because you now have to deal with walls that cost 1,000,000 gold instead of 500,000. For TH8s, 500,000 gold is a butt load of gold for 1 wall. All I'm trying to say is that SuperCell needs to bring back wall upgrades with elixir for lvl 7 to lvl 8 walls.

For the reasons stated by supercell it is the right reason why they switched it back at lower levels. Skull walls arent too hard to farm. 500k gold is 2 decent raids. I finished them before the lix for wall update.

Nope.... That is just silly.

Are 500k per wall...ouch!

Still, itll matter more at lvl 9+ and then u can use elixer! I just got my first 2 lvl 9 walls today and i used elixer for 1.

1 mill each makes you see 500k from a different perspective lol
