Unique gem in-app purchase issue
Before someone jumps to conclusions, I've already contacted Apple about this issue and they directed me to the developer after attempting to resolve it. My daughter is part of a family share with Apple. She sent a request a month ago for gems. My wife accidentally cleared the ask to buy notification and now it appears the request is stuck as pending. Now, anytime my daughter tried to purchase gems, they appear greyed out and a message says, "please wait, transaction is pending". We have tried:
1. Deleting the app and reinstalling
2. Signing out and back in to gamecenter
3. Removing her from the family share (didn't matter whether she was a part of the family share or not, she couldn't purchase gems as they were greyed out with the message above appearing when she clicked them).
4. Turning on in-app restrictions and turning it back off.
5. Called Apple to check the back end with their store. Everything appeared fine.
I feel bad for her because she is the only one who cannot purchase gems and she has $22 iTunes gift card credit available. Her sister is a part of the family share and purchasing gems is working fine for her. Please help! Thx
Resetting device worked for us
We had this exact same problem with my son's CoC game with family sharing as the source of problem. Resetting the device and then restoring the game using game center worked for us. The original instructions that led me to do this are in this thread, but in our case there was nothing on the device that needed to be backed up (just a few games, all linked to gamecenter), so the reset was easy:

A "clear pending transaction" option in CoC would be great, SuperCell.
Same problem with Hay DAY ! supercell support is really bad
Same problem for me in Hay Day, purchase transaction initiated from my son's ipad, using family share. Something went wrong during approval process and now the diamond purchase windows is permanently greyed out with the cursor rotating, as if it was waiting for something. I can't even cancel the transaction and start over, as soon as I press the "+" sign near by the diamond, the diamond purchase windows is greyed out. I called Apple and they said they had several similar issues reported by players of Supercell games, they checked with their technical team and according to them the problem is on Supercell side.
My guess is that hayday is stuck waiting for a transaction approval or refusal from Itunes. As something went wrong during the process, Itunes has probably cancelled the transaction and everything is fine on their side, but hayday programmer have not anticipated such a case and never implemented a "timeout" feature that will cancel the transaction after a certain time (3 weeks in my case!).
I have tried everyting, even full reset of the ipad and reinstalling the app (if you do that, don't forget to use Facebook or Game center to save you game progression otherwise you will loose everything).
Finally, I must say that their support is very bad, after the usual robot answers redirecting to standard FAQ, I had to cope with changing people who did not read the history of the support ticket and continuously asked me to explain again what my problem was. Hotline stuff refuses to transfer the ticket to technical support, they keep on saying it's Apple fault, without even checking wether there could be some issue on their side.
Having the same issue but I don't want to have to reset the iPad!
