I am a th8, and I am midway through the journey and am losing defenses in wars like crazy, everything beats me-hogs, drags, giants, golems, etc... can you guys help me find some GOOD th8 WAR bases?
TH 8 bases are so easy to 3 star in war, that it would be unrealistic to expect to defend well in wars.
That said, you have to at least try to make it difficult for attackers to fail, because as you know, there are a lot of players who might necessarily have the skill and confidence to win against a very good base design.
Obviously, it is impossible to defend against every kind of attack, but when making a war base design, it is important to note the following points.
1. Keep the clan castle as close to the center as possible to make it difficult for the attacker to lure the cc troops and to waste the attackers time (even destroy the raid if they forget to lure)
2. Keep your air defense spread out. but still sufficiently protected to defend against dragon/dragloon/baloonian attacks. Also, don't forget to level them up
3. Have multiple spaces where double giant bombs may be located, to defend against hog attacks.
4. High level walls are key to defending against the 3 star for gowipe raids
There's probably something that I left out, so make sure to look up base building tutorials on youtube from quality youtubers such as OneHive Raids.
(I deliberately didn't give you any base designs in this post, because using a design off the Internet is a guaranteed way to get destroyed. Make something people have never seen before, and you will have much better success)
Agreed, but I believe he wants pics/names/links of war bases.... probably because he has tried to build a base, but fails
