Got to champs for the second time (TH9) With pics + tips

I know this isn't really a huge achievement anymore but I thought I'd share this with you guys anyway.
If you're planning on pushing this is honestly the best time to do it, before the 1 gem barrack boost ends. It took me 3 days from crystal to champs raiding for 6-8 hours a day (just boosting barracks, no gemming troops so I had to wait 15-20 mins between each raid)
Troops & spells: Barch from crystal to master 2 then Balloonion after that.
Army composition: I used 27 balloons, 40 minions, 3 barbs and 2 archers with 6 more loons in cc. 3 rage 1 lightning
Use the 3 barbs and 2 archers to line up the cc troops and kill them by dropping one or 2 balloons on them, really works great for archers/wizards and you can save your lightning spells for extra % if you need it.
A few reasons why you should push: I only used about 200 gems on boosting which is really great. If you haven't been a champ before you will get 2000 gems when you get there, that is great profit ♥♥♥♥
I also farmed 200k dark elixir in those 3 days and upgraded my king from 23 to 25 so it was really worth it, who says you can't farm while pushing

Always keep your town hall outside unless you are th10, there's a very good chance you will get sniped for just 1-3 cups by a champion after you hit masters 1, giving you a pretty much free 12 hour shield

Some more advice: Never attack a base you are not 100% sure you can at least 1 star even if the trophy offer is really high. Just keep nexting and find yourself an easy raid.
Never look at loot available on a base ♥♥♥♥. If you go for loot you will probably fail. I actually skipped quite a few 500k+ each raids =)
Always have at least 1 million elixir on you so you can make troops, you don't really get a lot of loot from bases after master 1 by just going for a 1 star.

Congrats! Just made my 4th trip up there recently...3700ish cups is as high as I had patience to get.

Fwiw - I also had great experience with my th out after 3400 cups. Usually got a shield for only 1 cup loss to a 4k cup player.

you need to be in the right mind set, i'm also pushing and i only notice the loot at the summary of the battle at the end of it.

Congrats! I've been having a heck of a time barching with the archer towers picking me off. I'm a TH8 sitting at 1850 trophys. Any tips on how to climb to crystal with barching?

I used Gibarch when I climbed to crystal as a TH8. To sustain yourself at that level, you need to hit storages. There won't be many collector raids to help you. A GiBarch army ensures that you hit the DE storages. Don't hesitate to use the heal spell though. We have a 1 gem spell factory and 1 gem hero boost for a reason.

Thanks for tip, but how many Giants you run in with? I Have been using the spell boost but only using lightning.

10-12 (Go with 12) and 8 WB, Rest Barch equally divided.

PS: If you have lots of elixir - go Baloonian in Crystal (if you are finding it difficult to 50 percent a base in that league.) You will not lose much DE, your elixir will be well spent and defeating a TH9 with XBows is fun. I go with 2 rage and 1 heal. I just use 1 rage spell and it's enough.

I have L5 tier 1 and tier 2 troops, L3 minions.
