There are other players that usually have two or more clash of clan accounts. And some of them are using that other account to spy on enemies during war. I suggest that no player can join in the clan during clan war preparation day and battle day. Having a history on a player like, what clan he/she was from is also a good idea. This is only a suggestion guys. But please support ☺
Ever heard of putting the clan to Invite Only/Closed?
This is restrictive and should not be implemented. You shouldn't prevent people from joining during a war, because many clans war all the time and thus would never get any new people.
If you really have a problem with spies in your clan, you can close your clan during war. If you somehow discover that a spy came into the clan, you can then change you base with the new and nifty base changer function

So your idea is that Supercell closes your clan for you every time you are in a clan war? If you're not a co-leader or the leader, ask someone to close the clan each time. It is up to the leaders of the clan to run it.
I agree that spies can be annoying, but it's the clan's own responsibility to make sure no-one who isn't wanted can get in. If no clan could be joined during wars, visiting other clans and returning to your own clan would be a nuisance. :)
Yeah, I was thinking that too. 'Closing the Clan For You' is in other words making it mandatory. Among the guys that complain about spies there are many that reject our suggestions to close their clan during war because they say it has to remain open to support the way they choose to operate. Whether or not I agree with them is not the question here. They would scream if suddenly that closing they say they don't want suddenly started happening against their wishes.Quote:

Actually I think spying is a waste of time, you just don't get anything back that is worth the effort or that you can't just get anyhow without doing the work of spying.
No, to prevent spies have it on invite only. Or close your clan, just because u don't use them isnt a reason to remove them.
LOL, you are completely right of course. The suggestion above though is to have SC automatically do those things so that they become mandatory. Think of the people that have rejected your suggestion when you have made it before and what they would say to it becoming mandatory.Quote:
