Level 7-8 walls should be able to be upgraded with elixir as well as gold

Level 7-8 walls should be able to be upgraded with elixir because of the limited number of elixir upgrades town hall 8 provides. This way you can finish your gold upgrades while using excess elixir on upgrading walls.

I did a rough calculation supposing you start from level 7 all fully upgraded. You would need about 67 million elixir (upgrade + research) and 110 million gold (upgrade without wall)...plus some dark elixir which is out of topic.

We see a great imbalance between gold and elixir already and if we require gold to upgrade the 225 level 7 wall (and initially we would only have 175 level 7 wall and would need to build another 50 level 7 wall from scratch, the cost of which will not be counted here), this would require 225 * 500K = another 112.5 million gold.

Thus I think allowing upgrading by elixir would balance the use of elixir and gold, and would avoid the gold rush (too many players raiding for gold only).

Please change the new update
we really need to upgrade the wall with an elixir from level 7 to higher
elixir is not useful enough if we can upgrade walls just with the gold
So please and please an please change it to last update for walls

SC can't really reel back an update and besides, elixir was pretty hard to some by during the elixir wall hay day.

Completely agree, im town hall 8 but I really don't mind having to wait a bit longer, but tbh walls at pretty much any level are quite expensive. Also guys...no offence, but you're being pretty noob-ish, everyone else did it the hard way so you can too.

Agreed. But on TH level 8 and on, elixir is not as useful as before, question, when elixir stocks build up in the game economy and no high level players wants it and no lower level players can reach it, what is the purpose?

There are many inactive accounts where their elixir is in collectors, the highest I have ever seen is 450K (6 level 11 collector full), and on average 250K is quite often and reachable (and can be raid by level 8 TH below without penalty).

No need....excess elixir, good for economy...

The upgrades take too much time nd if the person has full elixir he cant dump it anywhere. Walls should b upgrdable usi both

I'm done with elixir for town hall 8, so I just keep my storages outside as a nice present for anyone who finds me, they're getting pretty full too...
