My Sincerest Apology

Although it is humiliating to have created this thread, I would like to send my apologies for sharing the Farming 101. It was never in my intention to seek attention or ruin the game for anyone. If anything, I have gained more haters than friends which is why I decided to delete the thread. It never occured that I have become annoying to the majority of this forum. For that I am sorry.

I am not into drama and from my point of view I have not offended anyone in this forum except during my earlier days. For that an for all the things I've missed, Please accept my sincerest apology.

I was on the verge of quittin the game and farming is the only thing that kept this game interesting. So thanks for the guide.

Pedro, thanks to your farming guide, you have effectively brought SC to its knees. Because of the incredible resource drought of the last patch, people are willing to cease paying SC until it is fixed. If anything, everyone should be praising you.

Who are you apologizing to? "The majority?" I'm afraid the majority are in your corner and the last thing we want to see is an apology thread. Some people are ♥♥♥♥♥♥, so what? More people are happy playing this game because of that guide. THAT is what really matters.

I'll give it to you honestly, from my POV. You post a lot, that rubs some people the wrong way. You got a bit of praise, that definitely rubs some people the wrong way. And your thread resulted in some players at the top not being the only ones privy to the information contained in it. AND THAT INVARIABLY rubbed some people the wrong way.

Plus, you have abs and you're showing them off LOL

You need to roll with the punches and realize you are on the winning side of this particular argument. You are not 'worshiped' as some have suggested. We respect your experience and are grateful for your contributions.

Do I appreciate every post you have written? Probably not. But I can say that of any member of this forum. However, what I cannot say is that many members have created outstanding treads. And my favorite threads to date are the Farming 101 and Base Design Contest threads, both created by you and participated in by many people in the community.

Trolls r out there no matter what u do. U have helped soooo many people enjoy the game so much more its impossible to say how many. It's too bAd supercell mostly fixed the 0 cup thing we were doin ( that I know of at least) but it was a great run. I thoroughly enjoyed it and am very appreciative towards Pedro.

Even at the end when it wasn't do great, there was still a lot of gold available with infinite elixer.

Farming was actually the thing that saved the game for me after the last update. You can't get any resources anymore just by playing "normally" because you only get targets that are stronger than you.

Sadly that big majority of players that doesn't read forums are in a big trouble now and they are just wondering what to do when they suddenly don't get good targets (resource wise) anymore.

I'm actually not that good farmer but it's still more fun what I had with this update earlier.

You dont have to apologize. You are a person with a great attitude not seen much nowadays.
Even though some members are unpolite and insult u, u stay calm, nice and respectfull.

Did dr.atkins invent ketogenic diets? NO. Was all the information in his book correct? Defnitly not. But he still wrote a book on this subject that helped a lot of people to lose weight and fight obesity.

Did tom venuto invent bodybuilding? NO. Was all the information in his first book "burn the fat feed the muscles" correct? Nope. Still his book helped hundred thousends to lose enormous ammounts of weight and/or build muscles. Build peoples selfesteem, and get people into shape.

Even though you did not invent farming in COC (nor did u claim this), still many people were helped by your guide.
You just helped spreading a certain message (as one of many who spread the word of farming) and was the most succesfull in spreading it (wich requires good communication skills). Others might have spread this word before you, but their message missed their target group. The recognition you got is well earned.


Btw. I also like fitness just like u. Its totally normal that you like to show others that u like fitness and that u are proud of yourself and like to show this off a bit. To support u I uploaded me doing a side tricep pose.

I wish i can see ur thread. Yeah i want to get good resource. Anyway i think supercell to greedy. He now ask us to buy everything. U no need to appogize. SC need too. As i just bought my 14 k gems expecting to speed up things as i got quite always full resource. And come the patch, n its not ur fault is SC fault they are to greedy. Ppl have resource will buy gems to speed up. Some yes wait. But more dont have that patience. SC kill himself by making ppl didnt hesitate to speed up as no resource to do. Expecting ppl to buy gold n elixir. Hope SC have a good damn luck. Hehhehe you build a good game but not good if u cant sustain it. I thought Pedro's Farming 101 was getting surprising attention considering DocTorre's newbie guide already had the same information. Of course farming in itself is an obvious plan for anyone who's done the grind in a few games before, so it's just newbies who need guide for that. Oh yes, I hadn't thought of going to zero trophies before reading DocTorre's guide, so there was something for me too.

In any case, meh. I'm looting if not farming currently. Or not really looting either for as long as I build various troops I've wanted to try but which aren't cost effective. Looting again when I've depleted my elixir. Farming is simply too boring, so I do it only when I really want some upgrades.

I still think the problem lies in trophies not giving anything but prestige, and even prestige requires getting to gemmer tier. Make having trophies worth it and fewer people will farm. Of course assuming dropping trophies is a problem in the first place.
