Barrack boosting and TH sniping

I have noticed a change since the barrack boost started. Every single one of the attacks against my base has been a TH snipe since the boost started. Prior to the boost slightly more than half were snipes and the other nearly half were real raids that attempted to get to my storages (though they never got them all). I am a month-old TH9 in Crystal 2.

My question is this, since the barrack boost started have you noticed any difference in the percentage of attacks against you that are TH snipes vs. full on raids (obviously I am asking this of people that have their town halls out to be sniped). For those of you boosting barracks, is there any change in how often you snipe a town hall vs. full on raiding a base that has an exposed town hall (in other words, are you more or less likely to fully raid a base with an exposed town hall when your barracks are boosted or is there no change).

As a nearly maxed th8, all I ever see are th snipers. The only thing I've noticed with the boosts is that there are a hell of a lot more zappers out there.:rolleyes:

Haven't been zapped yet even when I had 2k+ DE to take, but then again I am in crystal 2 where zappers are uncommon since DE is everywhere (trying to keep both my heroes upgrading constantly so I have to hang out where the DE is).

im in gold 3 and havent been sniped in like four weeks with 12k de

why are people sniping? you dont need gems as everything is 1 gem boost. a few 100 gems should hold you over and the gems from trees and gem boxes.

Sniping is done for the league bonus and it is a very effective way to create loot for yourself without having to take it from anyone else. I get a good feeling every time I snipe a town hall knowing I have helped protect a fellow farmer from storage raiders.

only about 700-800 DE can be stolen from you, so...

that's so little amount

Most ppl snipe for bonus. However it depends whether you have loot or not. for me threshold is 250k+ usually then i go for everything.

I haven't noticed any change lately. Something like 88-90% of all the attacks against me are snipes.
