They simply messed up with the barracks boost the same way they messed up with the elixir wall Change in September.
They messed up in giving walls upgradable with elixir to the higher TH's because they were the ones who were struggling with loot. They then took it away from the lower TH's which wont solve anything. xDQuote:

Took away elixir for wall from lower THs solved lots of things. SUPERCELL aint stupid, they wont do anything not beneficial to them. It forces players to upgrade their THs to 9 and above so they can join the 14-days-upgrade(research) club thus more players likely to buy gems.Quote:

well, many th8 players found themselves to be always full on elixir but short of gold with half or partial skull walls, how to solve this without constantly overcapping elixir storages while farming? going to th9 so u can exhaust some exlirs on wall lvl9/10Quote:

This "solution" causes more problems then solves.
there is no real "solution" for players in coc, all "solutions" are just superficial attached by underlying problems created by supercell, they created "problems" for players for one purpose and one purpose only-to annoy players beyond our tolerable degree hence we must use gems. coc is not a player vs player game the truth behind is players vs supercell at all time.Quote:
