I recently got a dark elixir storage, and it's been at 0 since I got it. I know there is an achievement to get 450 trophies. If I got this achievement, all together I would have enough gems for 10,000 dark Elixir. Is this worth it?

Nope, never worth it to gem resources. better to use it to boost your barracks. Also, if you don't have all 5 builders, I would put any gems you get toward that..Quote:

That's basically what I did in TH7, just to get the BK. Nowadays, though, with the DE drill you get at TH7, you should be able to get the BK on your own without gemming. If you're impatient, just go ahead and gem it.
Nope not really. It is simple to get de. Just need to work it. Wars and drills give you de too. Though you could gem him too

Your th7, but you've never reached 1250 trophies?!
Anyway, all you gotta do to get barb king is to do war and get drill lvl 3.
I gemmed for my last 1k or so as a TH7, but now you guys have a drill. 30 elixir a day isn't much but it ends up being 600 or so. Throw in a farming session and you should be able to get it pretty quickly.
If we were able to get BK without DE Drills before, you should too!
