I feel your pain. I've seen it spelled "elixer", "elixar", and "elexer". Drives me crazy.
I think it bothers me more when people spell "Balloonion" as "Balloonian". Balloonion is the combination of the words Balloon and Minion. There is no "a" in Minion!
This isn't even thread worthy... quit posting stupid threads like this
These are really bad and can be easily attributed to terrible schooling. But, how does one explain when ppl say,"should of" when they really mean "should have?" I just don't far king understand that. What do they think when they re-read their sentence that they just typed or read other ppl who wrote a sentence like that.
This one, I just call dumb.
I don't think few players would realise the importance of a single letter until they come across something like "Dear" & "Deer" , where a single letter would completely change the meaning of the word :)
F.Y.I.
Dear - regarded with deep affection.
Deer - ruminant mammals forming the family Cervidae.
Hahaha I didn't even see this! :o
This one really bothers me too. But is comes from the contraction "should've", which sounds like "should of" when you say it. You'd think people would realize after reading "should have" thousands of times in their life that that's the correct word to use, but no.
