Why Cant Anyone Spell Elixir Correctly?!

Yeah, it makes me so angry when people use simple words wrong.
Most commonly I see these words used the wrong way:
- "your" and "you're"
- "their" and "there"
- "than" and "then"
- "to" and "too"
- " -s " and " -'s "

Wrong. It is an English word. It originated elsewhere, but so did every other word in the English language:

That one is the most annoying. I honestly struggle to see how people get confused between them... I'll probably end up doing it now that I've said that, knowing my luck. :rolleyes:

Lol those don't really bother me, but I love correcting them... :)

It bugs me that people can't spell a word that is written in front of them. I get it all the time at work in emails; people reply and spell my name wrong despite it being correctly spelt in front of their eyes. Where I work most people are considered intelligent which makes it even worse. At least on an internet forum open to the world, some people have an excuse!

I totally agree with what your feeling! It bothers me to! Than I thought too myself, its Christmas I should let it go. Their are things we should be grateful for...like being able to boost Elixer for only 1 gem.

YES it is the same with defense and offense everyone spells it defence and offence. but what really annoys me is when people pronounce it ELLY-IXER its pronounced E-LIXIR not ELLY-IXER
