Attack using GOWIWI

Hi, since I upgraded my Townhall into level 9, I always use the attack strategy GOWIWI (Golem, witch, and wizard) during clanwars. Everytime I used it I always fail to reach a three-star win, and mostly winning a two-star win. It is either I do not have enough time or all my troops get killed. I am only new to that attack strategy. I already used it with our clan's 3 war.

For reference, here are my troops and spells: 2 Golems, 15 Wizards, 6 witch, 3 hogs (to trigger war castle troops), 5 wall breakers; spells - 3 healing spells and 1 rage spell.

Please help. A good video tutorial would be a great help! Thank you!

3 healing spells are too much, remove 2 of them and add 1 jump and another rage

I three starred two th9 with gowiwiw last war. Used to use gowipe before but often that stays with 2 stars. I bring a lighting and don't bother about lure cc. You can try 3 golems and only 4 witches. Don't have the golems to close, you need much defence to lock on those to keep wizards and witches alive. So if you ATTACK one side, 2-3 golems apart, a line of wiz behind, wb, witch, heroes and spells in the middle. 1 spell of each or 2 rage instead of jump. Gowiwi shines on open bases like antihog, but works ok most.

I haven't used gowiwi much so you should listen to others but I've perfomed well with in last wars. What made me turn from Gowipe to gowiwi is also that th9 only have pekka 3 it was kind of nerfed this last update when many structures got stronger.

Thank you! I am thinking that the heal spell will keep my GOLEMS alive. I will try your advice; it maybe the reason that I am lacking time to wipe my enemy's base. I have plenty of heal spell.

When should I use GOWIPE? Is it better than GOWIWI? What is the troop and spell combo of GOWIPE? I tried using GOWIPE before, but I noticed that the wizards kill the defense/ buildings before the PEKKA can do so because the wizards can attack over the wall. So, I decided to stop using GOWIPE. But it left me wondering why other players still prefer to use the same attack. So, I think I am just using GOWIPE incorrectly. Please help me.

I use these troops during GOWIPE: 2 GOLEMS, 2 PEKKA, wizards, witch, and wall breakers; as to spells, I have 3 healing spell and 1 rage spell.

your is not gowipe but gowiwipe...

my gowipe is like this : 2 golem, 3 pekka, 8/10 wb , rest wizard ....

pekka and heroes is used to go center and conquer town hall, with his high hp and dmg... wiz will be his backline ...

as which is better gowipe or gowiwi, i am starting to research gowiwi .. ill tell you which is better .. :o

i also got same trouble, always stuck 2 star with gowipe. so lately i add hog to gowipe ...:cool:

The main problem with GOWIPE as th9 is Pekka 3, it's th8 ♥♥♥♥. I might pick it up again once I get lvl 5, they are nasty.

More Wizards, less witches and 2 rage/2 heal IMO.

I don't bother luring, a hoard of wizards is enough to take the CC out.

a CC full of hogs is useful too - release them on the opposite side of the base just as the core is being cleared and everything is taking aim.

2 rage spells IMO.

Remove some of your witches and put some more wizards. Wizards will be your main power input. Then for your spells, 1 heal, 2 rage, 1 lightning/jump(depends on base layout, if the CC is lurable change spell to jump, if not then stick to lightning).
