Am I ready for town hall 9? I know people say to fully max your base but I'm close to doing that, and I really want level 6 troops. All opinions are appreciated. Thanks guys!

I'd say yes..but it's up to you if you wanna full max out on th8. If you do, keep in mind that you'll have
a surplus of elixir
I also forgot to add that I plan on getting all purple (lvl 7) walls before I upgrade
Heads up lvl 6 troops cost 3mil elixer just to upgrade lab to lvl 7. Then you need around 7mil for archer lvl 6Quote:

If your gonna max you may aswell completely max. When you go up to th9, maxed t9s are going to have no loot penalty against you so your gonna get attacked by stronger troops. You need a LOT of resources for th9 upgrades, the better your defenses the more chance you have of keeping your res therefore faster at upgrading.
I'll max everything before th9, its up to you if you cant wait but I wold take advantage of the 90% from th7 before your subject to 50% penalty!
No, here's why:
-Teslas are light years away from being maxed. If you go TH9 with your teslas in their current state its going to be ages before you can get around to maxing them, and the tens of millions of gold you need for them will be even harder to farm at TH9.
-Air defenses all need work, and are a fairly large time requirement.
-DE drill and storage both need work. You should at least get 40k capacity on your DE storage, then you can farm for your AQ while the town hall upgrades, and get it as soon as you reach TH9. You'll lose a lot less to TH7 lightning strikes on the way to 40k DE if you save for it at TH8 (less bonus for TH7).
-Storages should both have 6 million capacity, to be maxed when you reach TH9 for creating double x-bow, and getting lab going + drills.
-Archer towers aren't bad, but none are maxed, and the 2.5 million per level 10 archer tower will be a lot easier to get at TH8.
-Walls. Level 8 is worth it, especially because it makes getting level 9s in a reasonable amount of time at TH9 possible, for that oh-so-wonderful 3 wall breakers per break instead of 2.
In my opinion making the jump right now for level 6 troops isn't worth it, when you consider all that still needs to be done for your base. Especially because it will probably be much easier to farm all the gold you need with level 5 troops and a TH8 penalty, as opposed to level 6 troops and a TH9 penalty.
