Clan War Improvements

A common issue with larger clans, is dealing with inactive members. My clan, a clan of 50, often struggles in clan wars because many members become inactive. I propose a manner to improve clan wars. Instead of basing it on total members, allow leaders and co-leaders to search for smaller wars. For example, a clan of 35 can search for a clan of 20 or another clan that seeks to only use 20 members. Leaders select the 20 members. That ensures the best members can participate and also rids the war of inactive players.
This will allow for far more competitive wars and more incentive to constantly improve, in order to be considered for war by the clan leader.

This is what we need...I'd select all my high lvls in then add my extremely low ones as control...I like it

pretty sure already been addressed, but just kick those people. nothing else for it. or create a seperate clan for people who arent active to chill in

No I like this idea...however, supercell is already working on a que in and que out.

An issue with kicking inactives is, it is not always easy to identify inactive players. They may have 0 donations given/received and may not be participating in raids or wars, but may be just collecting resources.

You are asking for an opt in/out feature. There are many of us that are all in for that. Hopefully it happens some day.

Until then just kick and re-invite to work it. I do realize this is a terrible solution with several problems to it, but its all you got for now so I advise learning to work with it until something changes.

Guys ALWAYs inactive, never useful for war? (and by inactive you mean they don't even come on line much or all, not friends that hang out and chat). Those you should just kick and not reinvite. Even if there was an opt in/out feature for war those would still be guys to just be kicked.

Once you start to wonder about a guy watch him and call out to him in the feed a few times. Even send a clan mail saying "the following members appear to have left the game and are going to be dropped" (say dropped, not kicked, good politics) If still seeing no signs and no hands got raised after a couple/few days then kick them with a note saying that it is because 'they appear to have left the game' (politics again). Tell them that if they ever become active again they are welcome to return. Those that were actually still active (just being pretty darn quiet and non responsive for whatever reason) will do that.

They are? Please do tell. I am someone that would love to hear this, I have campaigned like crazy. But so far I have not seen any sign my campaign has been heard or being considered. (but I am keeping it up)

I actually have my clan structured that way anyhow with how I recruited so an all opt in gives us that. We have at this point a steady group of all the right levels to give us the best chances. In fact, when I let someone opt out it upsets the balance a little. (But I gotta let them, its only a game after all) In that case I grab some noob hopper from global who I don't care if he takes off on prep day or not.

Exactly...they easy out the wars...we have multiple active ones who actually attack too...and BTW next to the reply with quote there's a quote button and you can reply to multiple quotes. Not just one, makes it less spammy.
