More ways to get gems

Whenever I play CoC I feel limited on my gems, and I want the ability to get more easier. So here's some ideas I have on this topic.

Raids: Like the power stones in Boom Beach I want the chance to get a low number of gems from a raid. This varies with the trophies. The more trophies you get the more of a chance you have to get more gems. Range: 1-10 gems per raid...10 gems if very lucky and 3 starring a hard base.

Clan Related: Depending on the place in my clan I would get gems each donation season, apon entering a league. So here's my thought on this: Number of trophies divided by 10 times the placement your in. For example if I was in 10th place with 1111 trophies I'd get 11 gems. However if I was ranked say 5 with that number I'd get 22. Just a small bonus.

Wars: I feel like I'm not given enough reason to war. So I feel like I should get gems for each star I earn. So how I think this should work is I should get 1-5 gems for each star I earn in a war. Not only would this make me and my clanmates try harder, it would also get us to face the right targets. To control this, you get 0-2 gems if you raid anything below your number by 7.

My final idea for a way to get gems: A new rarer obstacle...gem boxes are not enough. So add gem chests...These things are twice as rare as a gem box, but give 60 gems. They will rarely appear in your village and you only get the chance of having one after 1-2 days have passed since having the last one.

IDK...but I bet you'll find luck with the other ways.

I dont understand why they don't just add a way to buy them, then we could have all the gems we want.

We already can buy them. If you mean buy gems with loot then you came up with a good idea. Not sure why anyone would do that but that would be cool.

Lol it was sarcasm. Means that we already have all the gems we can have, just depends on how deep your pockets are.

more gems = less loot, less money for supercell

Plus...they have more fun games that will get em money too. I just feel like CoC is really hard to get gems in.

I really, really, really like this idea. I always though gems are really hard to get. This is a pretty nice suggestion.

Not really....just put in Credit Card information into your respective App store and boom! unlimited gems! but srsly though. its a premium currency already, the fact that SC hands it out on a daily basis should be enough

Why thanks for asking their upside is that if they gave gems away then they could create something twice as valuable. Like a red gem, then they could use that to sell as well as the normal gems. Also they could make a chance increaser to sell that lasts a certain amount of time. There's many other products too. Like these red gems could also bring in a world of new defences and stuff...Like a shockwave launcher...where a hog rider screams and stuns the troops. The red gems could be traded as 25 gems=1 red gem...to even it out.

I spared all my gems and i have my 5 workers, for that the amount of gems we are receiving is ok, if you want to '♥♥♥♥♥' buying resources, you'll just have to pay

supercell doesn't simply make games without proffit, accept it,
(or you can always jailbreak youre device, you'll get as much free gems as you want, but it's a little bit illegal, lol)

Ok fair enough. Maybe you should speak at their next shareholders meeting. See what those guys say. If they agreed with that I think you could pretty well assume the users would be all on board.

You already get about 1.2 gems per star in war.

Gems are a bonus, it shouldn't be a resource that you can get in abundance. The ones we get are a free sample so we can boost a barrack or two every so often. If you want more gems, buy it. Supercell is a business in case you forgot.

wait wait wait. You really think inflation of their current premium currency in order to create an overvalued new premium currency

Blah, you've been playing Boom Beach too much.

They aren't going make a second premium currency. Whats the point? So the original currency devalues by half so we can buy a second premium currency for double the value? Whats the point? Left pocket, right pocket.

Either be patient or bust out the MasterCard.

There are many games out there that give ZERO premium currency. None. Nil. Nada. Zilch. Zip.

Gems are not a resource, however, not in abundance...plus they can nerf this a bit to even it out, plus I get gems on BB decently easy...but on CoC it is literally one of the worst things to attempt to get out of any game I've played.

Boom beach is not and no where near being the top grossing app in the App Store. The fact that you get so many diamonds there ruin the experience actually. I hate boom beach compared to clash. Apples and oranges in my opinion. No where near as fun. If you want abundant, free premium currency, feel free to stick to boom beach.

Im firm on the belief that NOTHING from boom beach ever set foot within clash.

Then it sounds like they should trash the premium currency. Get rid of the builder glitch, make us wait the time. Also anyone else wondering how this hit Hot Thread when it has 29 views?

We get enough gems already. You are being greedy for wanting even more gems. Stick to boom for diamonds, play clash for ultimate fun:cool:
If we get too many gems, the game loses fun. Too little, and people start complaining. SC has to balance it out.

So you want Supercell to stop generating revenue from Clash and subsequently kill the game all because you couldn't get more free gems?

....totally makes sense.....

You seem a bit young, so I'll go easy on you. There's plenty of places around the world with snow right now. Go shovel a few driveways for a few bucks and get yourself an iTunes gift card with that money. Now you've got plenty of gems!

Money doesnt grow on trees, its generates by a company who sells a product to a consumer for a set currency. Servers are not free either. So go earn some cash and subsequently earn some gems too.

I was kidding about the shareholders meeting. And if SC sees it here I don't think their senior management will be presenting that idea to their shareholders.

The other posters here were more being helpful than me (my bad, sorry) and their comments on devaluing the current premium currency are spot on.

So your saying I should give money to them...that's what im sick of, I spent 50 dollars on a lvl 5 barb King...they could AT LEAST lower the prices as I have lost my will to spend money on them, they already get millions of dollars from others, why should I spend money? They program games well and create good shows...my main reason for this are: the gems are overpriced for A GAME!!! The least they could do is make the prices reasonable...with the current price it totals to 1 penny=1 gem...1 in game gem.

So other people paying should allow you to make greater benefits at their expense?

The gem prices are on par with industrial standards. Madden Mobile is exactly the same, $5 for 500.

If they reduced their gem price, The amount they make from YOU would pale in comparision to the loss they'd take from everyone else.

Either start shoveling that snow or stare at your low gem count with loathing hatred.....
