War Standings
Part of the draw and excitement of clan wars is the competitive nature of it. With nothing to gauge your strength in this medium of the game it detracts from the experience.
If there were a Standings, similar to league and clan rankings, but based on win percentage, it would make clan wars dominance that much more gratifying. Example: My clan has 21 wins, which doesn't seem like all that much, but we also have only 2 losses. That percentage is something I'm very proud of but have no way of displaying or even proving past the previous 10 wars.
As far as the logistics of placing different clans in standings together, I'd base it around member #, strength, etc; all of the parameters that dictate war match-ups.

Standings qualification
A minimum # of wars participated in would qualify your clan for ranking in standings. Say 10 or 20 minimum war results before qualifying for a ranking.

I like the idea but...
I like the idea but as has been mentioned with any idea like this, it can be demoralising, the last think sc want to do is shame the people playing their game just because they are not very good.
Also I feel that the system could be abused, as shown by many clans, if done correctly, two clans can be matched together on purpose every time.
Finally I agree with sheabags and I would lean towards 20 war results.

Indeed. There is always a potential for exploitation. I think that weak programming is a bad excuse not to use an idea though. With the amount of money SC pulls in, I'd hope that they could find a suitable fix for any problem that might arise. Showing war wins is meaningless if there are no losses to balance them out.
I also think that any demoralizing potential would be moot. If a clan is horrible at wars, that's all the more incentive to learn strategy or to recruit players that will better your clan. Otherwise disband and join a clan that is willing to teach you. I haven't met a person in game yet that quit because they weren't that good. Quite the contrary. Every "bad" player I've come across has been very happy to either learn, or jump from clan to clan.
