I started this game on an Android device, and hooked it to my Facebook account. When I switched to an iPhone, I installed Hay Day and hooked it to my Facebook account, though not until after it started the tutorial. Now, every time I launch the game I have to choose which farm to play.
The good one is located "on this device," while the bad one is "in the cloud." I assume that means it is saved to iCloud. How do I remove it while not hurting my Facebook save?
No, it is not saved to iCloud (Apple Server) but indicates that Supercell game servers detect another farm linked to the FB account you are using.
You didn't mention Game Center, do you see your FB friends at all? Do you need FB to play? If not, simply disconnect from FB to avoid the pop up.
However, it seems that your current farm is not connected to any account (GC/FB) because of the pop up so please make sure your farm is saved with Game Center.
I have the same problem. The farm on the cloud is unplayed, the one "on the device" is the one connected to fb and gc that I use both on android an one the iPad. Problem is, gc friends don't show up, no matter how many times I log out of gc or reinstall the game.
wish there was a way to remove the cloud farm, as I suspect that's what screwing the gc friends part.
Yes, I am connected to FaceBook, and I had though to GC as well. However, after adding a couple GC friends, it seems that the OTHER (unplayed) farm is hooked up to GC but not Facebook, and the played farm is hooked up to Facebook and not GC. How do I correct this? I would like to not have the pop up, and do not want to give out my Facebook to add friends.
I do see my FB friends, but not my GC friends.
What you describe is totally possible and I'm afraid it might be the case here. If the game detects the farm isn't saved to any GC account, it will saved the farm to the first free GC account it finds on your device. It could be the GC account that was used one and never logged in again, no one knows... The message "Welcome back, GC-name" only means that there is a GC account logged in, not necessarily the one linked to your farm. And if it is not the one your farm is connected to, you won't be able to see GC friends from that account.Quote:

Oh bummer. I did send them a message today, so hopefully they can fix it for me. Want to add friends but would rather share my GC instead of FB. Thanks for the replies :)
Support was less than helpful. I am told that this is by design, since they had so many complaints about losing a farm, and that I should not have chosen to connect that farm to GC. Of course, I was not given a choice in the matter.
In case anyone is interested, I have thus far tried the following (all to no avail):
1. Uninstall Hay Day to remove GC data and reinstall
2. Uninstall Hay Day, sign out of GC, install Hay Day, play Hay Day, sign in to GC
3. In GC, delete Hay Day data manually (hold and swipe left)
4. In GC, delete Hay Day data, uninstall Hay Day, sign out of GC, install Hay Day, play Hay Day, sign in to GC, manually delete GC data
Not sure what else to do? Can't believe there is no way to get rid of that stupid level 1 farm in which NOTHING HAS HAPPENED.
I am from india & many of us cannot connect to fb with supercell games but a friend of mine connected hay day with fb on his android. Then i tried his account & i also got connected. Then i disconnected after 15 min. But it still shows his name on my shop & also his pic. How to remove them?
Then after couple of months i found that i could connect to fb with help of puffin browser. I successfully connected my hay day with fb also it showed my friends list there but it still shows his pic & name on myshop. Then i did a foolish thing & connected my fb with starting new game on hay day at level 1. Also my friend now can't connect his hay day with his fb account. Please reply that how can i remove his fb account totally from my farm? I am also connected to google+. He is also connected to goolge+.
For the record, I did eventually fix this, though I had to create a new Game Center account. Not a big deal for me, since I do not use it for anything else. Steps:
1. Obtain an Apple ID (I had to create a new one)
2. Close completely out of Hay Day
3. Sign out of Game Center (Settings > Game Center > Click Apple ID > Sign Out)
4. From the same screen, log in with the newly obtained Apple ID
5. Open Game Center to verify it is the right one
6. Launch Hay Day
7. Enjoy
Not sure what to do about the Facebook account problem Nirav92 is having. I would suggest contacting Supercell support.

I think I am having the same problem as you... When you added the new apple account to game centre did you have to use the same Apple account for App Store etc or can you use your original Apple account for that. Thanks.
