The current system is fine. The system is supposed to be intentionally weighted toward destroying the TH.
If you get 96% and fail to destroy it, 1 star is what you deserve.
Anyone else havr thoughts?

I like the idea. I'm assuming that the idea is one star each for 50%, 75%, and 100%, and town hall. This would create better separation of results in war - a 99% 2 star is better than a 50% 2 star, and takes waay more effort to achieve. That effort and result should be rewarded. In general play, my view is that the loot bonus should increase with the number of stars - that is the current reward should be halved for 1 star, doubled for 4 star.
Anyone else?
