How do I start a poll?

I've seen loads of polls but I don't actually no how to start one. Any help. :confused:

When you create a new thread-before you submit it scroll down and there's a "Post Poll" check box, you can also pick how many options you want in the poll.

There is a "Thread tools" on the very top of the thread and it says "make poll" or anything near the word

While you're setting up the choices for your poll, the thread has already been made, so people can post on your thread before your poll finishes, just to let you know that.

how do you make a new thread? I forgot how to and i really want to remember so that i can post things. Plz help
