Surrendering in war.

So lets say the war is already lost.

Your clan: 21 stars.
Their clan: 109 stars.

It looks like its an obvious loss and there is three hours left on the clock. So who the heck wants to waste THREE HOURS waiting for war to end? Not me! Nor both of those clans! So I introduce you a new idea.

The surrender button.

So basically if your losing a war and you can't make a comeback you can use the surrender button.

The leader is the only one who can use that button. And when both leaders agree the war ends instantly. And the people who surrender... lose.... And you can still keep the war loot... just a little????

So yeah this is the end of the idea and done...

Although not a win, there are advantages to not surrendering...1) You can burn an attack on a weaker player to earn some of your spendings back, 2) players that haven't attacked yet can still get a chance at 1 star for war loot, and 3) Practice for next round--It's not always about winning, sometimes it's about learning.

This game is all about WAITING. You wait for troops to train, you wait for buildings to upgrade, you wait for spells to cook, you wait for your lab to complete research... and guess what, you wait 3 hours for a war to end too.

I love this idea, and allowing only the leader to do this is perfect. But...I think if you surrender, then you shouldnt get any war win bonus at all. I think that is fairer, and a punishment if you can't wait out the rest of the day until the war ends.

Why take the fun away from another clan? They shouldn't be shorted time in a war just because you're a pansy and want to give up. Giving up like that is lame. Even if you're behind, you give it your best. What kind of message does it send to your clan if the leader just gives up? That's a clan I never want to be in. Pathetic.

Surrendering in war would be fine so long as it cost you something more than pride. Like it would cost every member a tenth of his/her loot and that would be rewarded to the other clan and distributed equally. Otherwise quit whining, put your big boy pants on, and try harder. No one forced you to go to war in the first place.

Take a different scenario. All attacks are done already by both clan. Yet they have to sit there without any options. This would help then.

Also not every war is going to be same. Sometimes the war can be real mismatch and then even after everyone trying their best the score clearly tells you its over. The losing clan can surrender. Its up to other clan to accept it or not. If you feel these are all wrong and pathetic. You can always leave and find a clan which is not so pathetic and can waste 1000's of de or 200-500k elixir on your practice attack without any gain.

How about the people who are in the other clan who never aacked yet because of scheduling (Or used their second attack)? They won't be able to get their loot because they can't attack.

Another issue is the "war for loot" clans that offer a tie if both clans leave the TH out on their top two bases. After everyone attacks they would end war and move to the next. Thus they could spam war and make way too much loot. It would be bad for the game.
