Please stop buffing defense

Supercell, it seems all of your latest updates have involved weakening offense and improving defense. Skeleton traps, faster archer towers, walls with elixir... The list goes on. 3 starring any base TH9+ has become much more rare. Some may think this is a good thing, but it isn't. 3 starring is a part of this game, if these defense buffs keep up, we will only see it in low level gameplay. Im not saying that 3 stars dont happen anymore on high level bases, but they are much more rare, and many of the 3 star attacks we see today are hog based. 3 starring should be possible with various army comps. Please stop buffing defense. . . . . . .

Meanwhile champs win ~80% of attacks. Yea of course defence is stronger than offense :) No way it could be that I'm bad right? I'm perfect in every way and deserve to three star every base cuz I'm that good.

out of those 80%, how many are 3 stars, which is what the OP is talking about. Move along....

Everything is balanced really well for clan wars. Hogs are a good unit for 3 staring weaker opponents, while Gowiwi/Gowipe are a good combination to 2 star every other th9. I have done more than 50 fights against th9s so far and have failed to get 2 stars only once.

For th10s it depends how strong they are. If they are weak, then I can also get 2 stars. If they are maxed, I have no chance, but I am still th9 with lvl10 heroes, so as a th10 with lvl40 it should be possible again to get 2 stars every time.

I am not a high lvl TH9 so I don't know but can you still easily 3* another maxed TH9 as a TH9 yourself? Or do you have to work pretty hard with your strategies, deployment etc to do it? Like you said 3*'s are part of the game but they shouldn't be easy to get. You say that many 3* attacks are hogs do Lavaloonion, GoWiPe and GoWiWi not work well to 3* TH9's? (I don't have experience with these strats vsing max TH9's) the skelly traps and arch tower buffs seem quite significant to me in the scheme of things, but I am not sure whether they will bring more balance to the game or not.

All this means is you need to change your strategy 3 staring a lv 9 TH is not hard and I'm not that high up. We have many upper level players with lv 10 TH's in my clan that get 3 stared all the time it all depends on your strategy. What it sounds like to me is that you either need to improve your troops or strategy. Supercell only released those improvement because they saw a imbalance in the game and fixed it IE the barb rush strategy was over whelming defenses to easily so they made archer tower arrows do half the damage but double the rate.

Skeleton trap/4th Mortar.....Lava Hounds, Lvl 7 Barbs and Archers.

Faster Firing Archer Towers...... Lvl 7 Giants.

3 Star attacks and Maxing out your base and walls should actually mean something. 3 star attacks are apart of the game but your should actually have to earn it....or *picking on a lower TH.

Nothing wrong with making three stars harder as long as they are still realistically possible, and they very much are.
Three stars is the very best you can get on a base, so there has to be a difference between a good raid and a really good one
