War is supposed to be fun for all but you can't help feeling screwed when 2 or 3 players cost an entire clan and the majority is left punished while the few that do this have no loss. My clan and I came up with an excellent solution. When you abandon a war your account is flagged you will get -50% loot while farming as punishment until war ends and be worth 100% more loot to all those farming for being a disgrace. This will hopefully help get rid of this behavior while also small economy boost.
Totally agree there needs to be a punishment for leaving after war is declared. So if they leave, maybe they could make it so their war base loot is 50% of their existing peace loot, so when it's attacked in war, they lose half of all their loot.
Think before you write, please.
Imagine I joined a clan full of kids unknowingly and they start an unexpected war, which I don't wish to be in.
What then? I have to suffer?
Learn to hire proper members and don't start a war with a stranger. Get them to stay with you for a while before you include them.
It's not their fault they don't like your clan and wish to leave.

No one psychic. you can't just magically know who the player behind the screen is. Not to mention one can only get an idea of what kind of person they are when they talk to them, which requires one to join the clan.Quote:

It is about liking or disliking the clan. There is no other way. Why should I care about the clan if they are rude to me, or in general not my type? It's not my obligation to please their playing time.
Like I said before, if you have major problems with people leaving mid-war. Make sure they are members who have stuck around for at least 2+ days. It's absolutely the clan's fault if they witness lots of players leaving the clan.

It's terrible losing players in war, but sometimes, stuff happens.
Clans who have people willing to leave taking part deserve to lose. More importantly people have the right to not attack, there is nothing wrong with not attacking, if the clan leadership doesn't want people to leave without attacking they shouldn't go to war with people who may leave. By going into a war with somebody you trust they will attack, if they don't you obviously don't have a good eye for loyalty and so you should be punished for it. What you are suggesting is like accepting someone because you think they are good at cw but if they fail their attack or something then they should also have to deal with your solution, for not acting how you want them to.
Also there is no solution, not that there should be one.
For example if people are forced to attack whats stopping them from just dropping one bard on too bases?
Furthermore warring and normal raid are separate and once shouldn't have consequences on the other in the way you suggest
Another thing you don't consider is the clans where the leadership gives permission to not attack, like if the match is really hard or really easy. Furthermore your solution works as long as the war is going on, but what if someone was to go on a visit during war with the intention of coming back? these people would also be affected.
All right I stand corrected this is acceptable behavior and appreciated by the community obviously. Can we just get a Stat added to profile for abandonment this will solve all problems. No more guessing who looks good who pretends to be good and ready. Oh looks like you have 25 abandoned wars sorry no room for you here.
