This is one of the features that helps all clan members to actively donate. Since currently, when we donate in clan wars are not counted/updated in clan donation stats, its a hinderence and we are expected to donate troops other than the clan wars part which makes it tough. Please include this feature in future. Thank you.

In clan wars, only your strongest troops are donated. That would give your stronger players a donation leg up, or inspire lower levels to put 3* and 4* troops in your war castles
I think SC was worried about how this would impact the achievement. It does not need to count towards that but let me see a count of how much people donated.
people will donate giants because somewhat cheap and they can donate 25 capactity worth too each player.
