Never really thought about this before but now I do I find it slightly harder to attack from the top left (I'm right handed) and also from the top in general as I regulary hit the surrender button when deploying troops quickly (especially when playing on my iPhone)
looking through the posts and what issues people have could actually influence future base designs. :)

When the obstacles did still affect deployment, I used to have lots of trees on top part of the map on the edge, where one can't build to make it more difficult to hit my base from that side. It worked quite well and 90% of the attacks came from the more easy to deploy yet more heavily defended side. Those few that did attack from the tricky spots did usually mop the place down anyway x)
Now I have the th&dlix pot lure on the bottom right for easy access for a cheap shield, works like a charm :) Deploying on the map when my hand is blocking half the screen does hinder my accuracy slightly, but usually more hindering comes from being zoomed in too close or too far for being too lazy to change the zoom after the initial scan around the victim. I also had the same th placement as daddy in the past, top corner for people to press end battle before it even started. I rather take the shield than leave the curtain open for next lightning rain, thank you :)
I am actually using ny right hand middle finger to play, and help that finger with left hand thumb when typing. Friends says its most wierdest way to play in whole game ;D
but basically i keep my ipad straight with left hand and use my right hand middle finger to do everything else in game. I never use index finger to play it feels wierd and hard
No need to answer since i play on ipad and it doesn't really matter :)
haha, that's me too. but if the storage's are separated, i will most likely attack from the right as sometimes, i deploy troops wrongly when i attack from the left. :DQuote:
