Question is in the title.
When I say maxed, I mean for town hall 8
All my elixir troops are maxed except goblins(4) and pekkas(2) level 4 minions, level 2 hogs, level 1 valks, saving for level 2 golems (6k de away)
my spells are maxed
Defensively, I am maxed except for 175 walls, two teslas at level 4 and one at level 5.
My king is level 5.
Is it ok to upgrade? Or should I wait?
currently, I am thinking that I should max teslas, pekka, and king, and leave walls.
thoughts?
It would be better if you upgrade your king to at least level 10.
There's a big difference between 2-3 levels.
I might go ahead and do teslas. I think I had TESLAS done, but not archer towers and canons, I rushed to take advantage of a boost. It went fine, but the beginning of nine was pretty hard, might have been better with better defenses, but you're up from me on that already. Nine is pretty fun, especially with loot coming back around.
You have maxed most things. Start the upgrade and in those 10 days work on your walls and even king.
No point having huge down time just to upgrade your king.
I would go with maxing your teslas, bk and pekka and doing the walls in the meantime.
I would also max your hogs for HoLoWiWi, or HoGoWiWi or just massed hogs they are still pretty useful.
If you can, try to max your walls in the meantime while the other stuff is being done, at least at TH9 you won't be stuck using gold to upgrade old walls if you can max your walls at TH8.
I see so many thread like this that make me feel like maxing is a waste of my time.
No one else seems to do it.
I've maxed every level so far, and now I just want that damn AQ.
lvl 5 BK is pretty low. I would get that to at least 9 before going to TH9.
Personally, I max everything besides a couple troops I don't use. Walls, defenses, traps, all of it.
IMO if you play and log in a lot then you dont have to max everything except the farming army and maybe those scary for show defence like wiz tower and/or cannons and arch towers. Because when you hit th9, you gonna be needed to save over 6 million elixir for the most basic farm troops.
I say dont rush, the increase in loot penalty should be sufficient a reason for anyone but that hasnt stopped millions from rushing. So, your base, your rules.
BTW...im getting TH9 in 4 days with max defence, max walls :D
