Im done re-make report system

I'm tired of getting banned by global for no reason if my account gets deleted I'm never playing this game again. I asked a person to join so they did she switched back to global and said hey so I said hi lol. And I get banned that's it. there needs to be something done about the report system involving a typed description of why they reported them. Geez supercell. Also on a side note why can't I say "this is" with out it going (***). Anyway why not star out some names??? There's a guy named "SUPRISEBUTTSEX". What's that supercell?! But someone can't say "hi" on global... IM DONE

LOL, I hear ya on the names. I think those are the guys that after a while are here on the forum asking to have name changes allowed. They thought it was funny on day one then later found they had to live with it long term. it like a tattoo.

But that said, it takes several reports before they pursue a case and then they see for them selves that the reports did indeed say something bad they take no ones word for nothing. Many think they are to slow, we get threads here complaining they don't act.

So if you have been banned many times I am sorry but I can't help thinking there is more to the story.

You can't say "This is" because of "ISIS." I think it is silly, but whatever.

Also about getting muted (not banned) from global. The game is being over run by children. Children who do childish things such as reporting nonsense. My advice along with probably everyone else on the forums: Don't go to global, global is for the children.

Should get banned for trying to abuse the report system to ban someone else.

System should have secret player stats on number of proper reports and frivolous reports, and ban the proper party. Or just number of times they reported someone, and a chat history a game staff person could easily bring up.

Heck, someone reporting often should raise a warning flag of some kind and start ignoring their reports at the very least.

As for bad words that are blocked; the system is too conservative and sensitive on even what seems like obscure terms. A few I didn't know about until I looked up the blocked text online. The most common way around that silliness is to use nonstandard characters. This is easy to do on most mobile devices by long pressing a key, and it pops up a list of letters with accent marks. Like buttsex can have bùttsëx, and it bypasses the censor. I'm sure Supercell is very aware of this issue, but is understandably unsure how to fix it yet.

Agreed on the children.

Also, he said banned, not muted. if he is just talking muted that does not involve SC, its just between him and the muter. And his talks about getting his account deleted are not a concern.

Because they accept money for gems it is not a straight forward thing for them to just x out of existence something they had previously accepted money for. they have to have things really documented before they can just delete. Suspending is a different matter, that they can do.

I can they already do keep records. they are aware of the guys that are constantly pointing fingers at people. they know that is someone less likely to be telling the truth all those times and also they do note that it is a pattern of guys getting into 'situations' even if they are always the injured party. (Like the kid that keeps getting beat up in school by different people might be the injured party, but if its because he antagonizes everyone then he is more the one that's a problem than the ones that beat him up)

SuperCell doesn't keep track of who presses "Report" and what they reported. The only way to ban someone is to report them via an email to SuperCell. If SuperCell kept a list of all the players who "report" on global, they would be overwhelmed by B*llsh*t.

I know he said banned, but you can't be repeatedly banned so he must have meant muted. He never said his account was deleted either, he only stated that he would be upset if he did get banned for nothing.

Pretty sure that is not true at all, as I said before they wouldn't keep track of all the global "Reports."

I've found global to be all either people attempting to recruit for their clans, or full of idiots/noobs. I also think that there is a good number of trolls on global who say outlandish and crazy things because they know it will provoke a response from the naive and gullible. I admit to some subtle trolling on global myself, but mainly on the level of telling people to join other people's clans without actually joining the clans I'm "recruiting" for, nothing much more than that. I've also stopped participating on global much (besides for reporting people who make rude comments) because of the sheer number of idiots on there.

I can believe that they don't have the data mining process to filter the normal ♥♥♥♥ and the really bad ♥♥♥♥ from people getting carried away with reports.

Text reports can easily be generated on who has been troublesome with the Report feature, and make a sorted list of players and start with the worst. System already does data processing of clans and player stats. A small amount of processing can be used to help monitor and flag trouble makers.

I do my fair share of playful trolling on global, out of boredom. I also routinely reject people from joining my clan.

I have never been randomly banned. Ever. And i do enjoy a bit of trolling.
