Let's not forget that u won't contribute as good as a th10 would to your clan with capped th9 troops.

i can't stop to repeat myself... don't waste precious time with sleeping builders just because u wana build some vanity walls in th9 which u can perfectly build also in th10 once u maxed it with a huge masters/champion bonus each fight.

They are 70-80% of the loot I get as a TH10?...

I'm doing that now. It's working out just fine for me. My defenses and traps are all maxed. My elixir upgrades are nearly finished too. The only thing I am spending gold on now is attacking and building walls. I will soon be in the same boat with elixir. Walls can wait. Seriously. I went to TH10 with mostly level 7 walls (purple), and I have no regrets.

Not a chance. I've got a nearly maxed base, and now I'm hammering out my walls. I kept my builders busy on Th10, right up until the end of my defensive upgrades.

Those in my clan who stayed behind for walls are way behind me now, and in terms of walls, I'm catching up to them.

I must admit I do like them too. Even with lego/lava walls they cannot stop a TH10 coring their base. :cool:

Far easier then a TH10 with Infernos and lv 7 walls...

I will agree that the amount of effort for the in game usefulness is quite low. However, a large part of farming walls is status. It shows dedication and seperates the elite farmers from the good ones (although not as much as when they only required gold).

What he said. They have a purpose just that aren't too useful. However they do seperate the farmers from the hardcore farmers. Its largely a bragging thing you can show off to others about
