New TH9 - Are lvl 6 Archers worth it?

Of course i'm probably going to do the upgrade, just because I max all troops anyways. But should I do archers first? Is there a noticable difference actually using them, from lvl 5 to lvl 6? I know archers arent a powerful troop, but a 2 dmg and 4 hp increase seems like it wont do anything. a lvl 6 mortar will one shot them, which is what most TH8's have to begin with.

EDIT - thanks for all the input everyone. decided to go with upgrading barbs first as thats what most suggested. will do archers 2nd and giants third

short answer no . It has tiny effect just like you said.
long answer is depend on your goal.

For war . Golem , Witch , Pekka , Wizard
For trophy push . Balloon
For farm . Barb , Giant , Archer

But they can survive a L5 Mortar blast, which is always good. They can also take a L6 Wizard shot, while L5 cannot

And even if you, personally, don't want to use them, what would your clan rather see in their cc? A L5 archer or a L6 archer? Half of the reason I upgraded is for my clan.

And don't forget, those are stats for one archer. How often do you use one archer? If you use 100 archers in a Barch raid, that's an additional 200 dps per raid. That's a little less to scoff at

I upgraded to L6 and I am not disappointed

Get barbs first. They get a bigger boost are cheaper and great for farming.

Yeah they are worth it it makes a difference when you are using 100 archers.

Btw. I do think archers are worth the upgrade, but i would still upgrade barbs first

Giants first, they will change your farming, WAY different than level 5. If you only barch then do barbs first

It's best for your clanmates if you do archers first, but archers were my second or third upgrade at TH9. If you use (or want to use) giants or balloons, do those before archers.

You do need to upgrade them, but unless you only use barch (and even then, I'd do barbs before arch), I'd do other upgrades first because archers are probably the worst bang for your buck when it comes to increased HP/DPS vs training cost at levels 6 and 7.

Have you maxed your camps yet? They're a very valuable elixir upgrade for a new TH.
