How to get English speaking members to a clan ?

Hey guys :)

So as the topic says, i got a question for you..

I'm from Turkey and in English and Turkish global there are only Turkish people.The thing is, i want to make an english speaking clan and most of the Turkish players are not that good in English, so i'm looking for English speaking players.But the problem is i can't reach out to them except in Norsk global.There are some English speaking players but i need more resources to find recruits.So any advice would be appriciated on that topic.Thanks for your time

Some help would be really nice guys :( I just aim for an english speaking, fun, social clan which people enjoy the game..

find the times that english speaking countries are online. chant ur in game language to english. go itno global when america/canada/england/austraila/new zealand/ etc. are online

Tried that, been there :( Unfortunately, it doesn't work.Still everyone is speaking in Turkish.

Dont recruit players in global. Start a recruitment thread here on the forums in the clan section. If there are here, they probably speak English.

I personally think that recruitment section is kinda underrated and full with spams.But i will try, thank you for your advice :)

How about talking about ur vision for the clan, and rules/structure u will put in place. How will u overcome the 6-9 hour hour difference when warring if u have US members?

6-9 Hours hour difference, that i can handle..

About my vision and the rules and structure of our clan that we want and what are we trying to achieve is explained in our recruitment topic which is placed here.

So basically, i figured out and know what i want, what i need is to reach those players out there, though thanks to the recruitment topic, we already got 2 recruits.

In your clan add, outline more of your visions for the clan and be specific, but not to the point of being a dictator i.e. War frequency and push frequency. Also minimum TH & troop levels, if any at all!

It is a great start ! You just need to flesh it out a little so potential clanmates will have a sense of what they can expect and what will be expected of them.


I would look at a few other recruitment threads that have been around for a while or have a large number of replies to get some ideas of the ways others recruit. Some will have good strategies and other will quickly stand out as the types of things you want to avoid. In my signature block at the bottom you will find s link to one of the clans im in, it recruits soley from the forums. As i have said, the key to building a successful clan is to avoid the cesspool that is global chat as much as possible. While you may not want to be a specific as this one is, it will give you a general idea of the types of things you might want to talk about in your recruitment thread.
