Is there going to be a resource gem boost over Christmas (resource upgrade query)

Is there going to be a gem boost over Christmas on mines / drills?

Usually I'd just wait and see but I've upgrade 4 out of 7 of both gold mines and elixir drills and wondering whether to do a further 2 of each (making them unavailable for next 5 days) or if there's going to be a boost like last year whether to put this plan on hold?

Do any of the mods on here know and are able to share or are they not allowed to say? :-)

Im tempted to leave otherwise and do them after Christmas period (which is a shame as like them all to match OCD alert lol).

Most likely yes, i am waitiing on it too. No announcement so far, am expecting one tomorrow or day after, i think we will get 1 gem on resources, barracks and spell factory. 😊

I very much doubt it tbh. What with all the collectors on upgrade (hypothetically) a resource boost would be a waste anyways.

Id appreciate a racks/spells/ heroes boost event but i have a feeling we won't get one this year. :(

If one gem boost comes out, how many people do you think will buy gems to finish their upgrade(s)?

♥♥♥♥ buy gems to finish the collector upgrades? Lol...you couldn't make it up... But hey anyone who does this deserves to be relieved of their cold hard cash:rolleyes:

Just saying if I was SC I'd pull a dirty move and release one gem, so people spend money and gem them Muahahah.

Or they just cancel the upgrade and take advantage of the boost and then do the upgrade/cancel trick right before it runs out, like any sensible person would do :rolleyes:

Based on my experience of Clash most players do not fall into the category of a "sensible person". Perfect example only yesterday. I read global while waiting for troops to cook. There was a guy in there defending what he had done with his base. He was TH7 and hadn't upgraded anything apart from his TH. He was looking for clan members and was surprised nobody wanted to join. I see players like this all over the place.

A boost would be nice, they always are, but I will survive without one.

Lol yeah actually, you have a good point there :rolleyes:....

The biggest benefit of the gem boost isn't your own collectors, it's all the boosted 300/300 bases you find

I'm also waiting in hope of the one gem boost! Please Santa, I've been good mostly!!
