my first day in TH9
1-Queen
2-25 Walls to lvl7
3-bought some new defenses
4- 6 hours farming (6m elixir) and now Im upgrading 4 camps and spell factory
5-now waiting 5 days for a idle worker
6-next target 1-lab 2-xbows (lab is busy at the moment with hogs)
every guide says that is good get lab and xbows in day 1, but prefer 220 troops and the 4th spell together.
I did right?
Camps/lab/factory sure. Better offensive being better raid income. Then the defences.
If you want to be working on walls just keep one builder free while the rest upgrade. Then you can still do a bit of farming and work on them instead of you doing nothing for 5 days but stare at your base.

Well some things come down to preference, my opinion is that this game is a lot about offense so if you are raiding a lot go for queen, camps and troop upgrades as you did.
Should be a fine choice.

Delaying X-bows was the right move. People get them right away because they are excited to have them, not because they help you get better loot. I prioritized the DE drills personally since there are 50 levels of hero upgrades at th9 but camps are useful too.
I went into TH9 with 6 mil of each and about 3 mil left in the goblin levels, and enough DE for a queen.Quote:

I added Xbows later, once the air D was lvl5 or 6. I was our only TH9 at the time and the only clans that threatened us ran hogs (hogs werent nerfed yet) and mass drag. The air D was more important than the xbows for the latter and the 2 sets of double giant bombs did the trick for the former.
Then with DE I Went to hogs 5 and queen 5 before anything else.
Recently our highest war hero player (493, so over 500 in 2 more wars) went to th9. His priorities in order were
-queen (he had the DE to instantly make one)
-25 walls to pink, new air D, new wiz, to add general defenses to his base
-added the new storages, drill (th8 only had 2 then) to add more stuff
-spell factory (too add a 4th spell, a rage, to his dragon attacks)
-lab level 6 (for black balloons)
-Dark Barracks to try to get to hounds
Just added his first xbow after more than a month. His goal was to get to lavaloonion for war.
For whatever those two strategies are worth. I guess we did it quite similarly, xbows as a later priority, black balloons and a 4th spell as high priority
In all honesty thats a pretty productive day regardless of what advice you get... If all your builders are busy your doing it right!
I'd go for xbows next as they're pretty sweet, and in wars they appear instantly (when they're still under construction in your normal base your war base will have lvl 1 xbows)
I'll be going to th9 soon.
My order will be
queen
lab
camps
spell factory
air defense
wiz tower
walls
then when those are done
troops: giants, loons, archer then rest.
xbow
My king is already level 10 so he can stay there while I bring the queen up to 10. then alternate.
Once a war is started in my clan, I will gem the queen and the spell factory.
I hate going to war with no spells/heroes
